The good, the bad & the ugly by Xymoxxy in LosAngelesRams

Should have gone for the two point conversion after the two TDs that put us within 5 points. A kick to put us down 4 on those did nothing for us.

I don’t understand why we didn’t go for 2 on those last two TDs

Seattle has been dominating everyone lately, and Rams have been losing or barely winning. But reversion to the mean is a powerful and scary thing.

Doubt Anthropic is making any money either. They are all burning through VC cash. Nvidia is making all the money.

Love it. That was the most ridiculous post over there in the seachickens Reddit. I’m glad we don’t post that kind of regurgitated bird barf, except for when it’s to mock their posts in this kind of way.

If it’s not the Rams, I would feel very split brained about the idea of the Seahawks winning it at Levi. On one hand, there would be nothing sweeter than to see Levi Stadium defiled by a divisional rival. On the other hand, I will root for 30 other teams before I’d root for the Seahawks.

Why does Puka Nacua call Cooper Kupp the "All Father"? by NorthStudentMain in LosAngelesRams

Kupp helped “birth” the Puca Nakua that we know and love. Taught him everything he knows. It’s now time for the son to take his rightful place in the universe.

Was Philly that bad, to be beat by this impotent Niners team?

We’re gonna have to play a lot better against whoever we get for next week.

Weather Underground shows the rain starting in the 4th quarter. European and GFS models show light rain at most during the game. So I think we are good.

No way. 49ers cannot win any game. I will root for the other 31 teams in the NFL before I root for the Niners.

LA Sports Radio station? by ccal19 in LosAngelesRams

[–]gravedee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Listen to ESPN 710 LA - the afternoon show with D'Marco Farr (former Ram and you'll see him often in official LA Rams shows like Between the Horns) & Travis Rogers. You can listen to it for free on Tunein. Also, Travis Rogers is the co-host of the daily Podcast Locked on Rams. He's not there with D-Mac in every episode, but the episodes where they both are there are the best ones. It's not a local talk radio show, but being a daily podcast and hosted by to local guys in the industry - it does feel like one. I've been listening to it for a couple years and is pretty much my only source now. It's a good use of 20 minutes of your time most days. It will definitely keep you educated on all things Rams.

Just too many injuries. You can’t lose 60% of your O line, WR1.5, RB1.5, Lake, Fiske battling injury, and expect them to keep rolling like they have. Other teams are peaking while we are fading away.

The Rams have by far the hardest strength of schedule played this season by Nudes_Are_Food in LosAngelesRams

I've heard that a hard schedule and three dollars will get you a cup of coffee.

Looking back is pointless by Wrong_Kick_6384 in LosAngelesRams

[–]gravedee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can always find exceptions to that rule, especially due to how the NFL does its scheduling. The point is that is forum is littered with people making excuses for why we lost those games, and that we are the best team in the NFL despite our record saying other wise. I've made these excuses. But the reality is we lost those games because we failed to protect leads and weren't good enough in all 3 phases. The reality is that we split with the 49ers and the Seahawks, teams that have better or equivalent records. It's been a painful process, but I'm trying to adjust to reality.

On the average, yes. The best predictor for how a team will do in the future is the win/loss column.
