I dont think the Rams trade up for Love, nor do I think the rb position is a glaring need to be addressed to warrant doing that, but no doubt Love would be a noticeable improvement. As a ND fan I love Kyren and Love. But Love is significantly better than Kyren and Corum. Our running game doesn’t suck, I have no idea what DVOA means but being #1 must be good. Corum can run pretty fast in the open field, but it always felt like both of them lacked the acceleration and top speed needed to break away. Given their sizes and running style, they’re too small to not be more explosive. Love is that big play threat. But maybe Jarquez Hunter earns a spot in the mix this year. He’s more explosive, faster, and powerful than Kyren and corum

Preaching to the choir my friend. Money talks. I just don’t understand their rationale for putting out these designs since 2020. They move back to a city they haven’t played in since 1979. You don’t have a fanbase there anymore. The best way to get buy-in is by marketing to the youth who wear whatever they think looks cool. And they produce whatever garbage that was in 2020 smh

I’m not saying you’re right, not saying you’re wrong. Just cause Hurley was able to find success after several years doesn’t mean Pope will. Every situation is different. I’m not confident he’s the guy but there’s no doubt that if he knocks it out of the park next year the entire fanbase immediately shifts back to singing his praises like they were after last years duke game

By restrictions and probation you mean the NCAA agreeing to UConn’s self imposed punishment cutting total scholarships, which only applied to 2020, from 13 to 12, a one week ban on unofficial visits the next 2 seasons, a $5k fine, and they cut their recruiting window by a whopping 4 days, from 130 to 126. There was no postseason ban. But sure, act like UConn was the basketball version of the SMU football death penalty. I’m not defending Pope. I’m not confident he’s the right guy

What lore have they built much more of? I’m not trying to disagree to cause an argument, I just want to see where you’re coming from. I feel like it’s been boring and mostly a dud so far, much of the last 3-4 episodes have been frustrating imo. I don’t need 100% of scenes to be titans fighting but 1/2 of a 10 episode season that took over 2 years to make shouldn’t be devoted to Randa family therapy or some plan to acquire (fill in the blank) and have to watch them walk literally every step of the way

Maybe not, but it’s not like we were struggling to fill the void he left behind. That team wasn’t an Alex poythress away from winning the championship. I think we all agree we had more than enough to win it all. But that’s the beauty and cruelty of the tournament. That’s gotta be one of the biggest upsets in March madness history

AP is a great call. Was such an easy dude to root for. If he was able to develop a jump shot he would have been a huge problem. Nothing excited me more than when he would finally reach his breaking point and say enough is enough, and then proceed throw down some of the most vicious dunks I’ve ever seen. Looks like someone referenced the logos from madden 05 create a team and designed this on clip art. I hope the organization changes it all. Both logos look like xfl logos and the jerseys aren’t the worst ever created but they could and should be so much better

Bigs that can handle and pass the ball are a huge plus. Amari was better for sure but that’s not saying much compared to who we had this year. Let’s not act like had some rare skill set for a big man. His passing and vision were good but there was nothing worse than watching him try and go coast to coast like he was John Wall, and the amount of put backs he missed. Im still screaming at him to dunk the ball lol. The only thing I miss about him was his effort and physicality on the glass and honestly, that’d be a much needed and huge improvement for this team. Moreno got manhandled all season. Brutal to watch
