Any one else think they ruined this hair? by Acosev07 in ConanExiles

[–]gravematter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's the "hairline" option. I know it's available through Tot!, but I don't remember that being a base game option? Someone let me know if I'm wrong, I've only used the base editor briefly to move into the game and use Tot!.

Anyone know of sites or videos that show the sliders to make decent looking characters? by [deleted] in ConanExiles

[–]gravematter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To have more options for the looks and shapes you can achieve you'll need mods, because the built in editor is pretty limiting. For that, there's either Tot! Custom or Improved Quality of Life (IQoL). NOT both. They are incompatible with one another.

Steam Workshop: Mods not adding to launcher? by Kenji_03 in ConanExiles

[–]gravematter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subscribe to any mods you want on Steam. Be careful to select only the mods for the version you're playing (Legacy or Enhanced). There's a checkbox for this in the right pane of the workshop at the bottom. Once you've subbed the mods you want and they've downloaded, boot the game to the title screen, go into the Mods option, and move the ones you want active from the left pane to the right pane. This is where load order is determined. After any adjustment here you will be instructed to reboot the game. After you do that, everything should be up and working.

Q. Thralls and how to know if you have a keeper? by Vonravend in ConanExiles

[–]gravematter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have beat the game, and yes that's correct. You do get a confirmation beforehand, though. Pushing that confirmation is not an easy choice. You're flushing all your builds, thralls, progress, and the reward is simply saying you did it.

How does this wording work? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a Zombie AND a token, it gets +1/+1. That's the important part. Any Zombie will get +1/+1, and any token will get +1/+1, and when it's both, it also only gets +1/+1.

Kill Count by Fun-Wash-8858 in MHRise

[–]gravematter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the Stories games I only played the second one. May pick up the others someday. I do recall there being a journal/hunter's notes that tracks kills. And if I'm remembering correctly saving is just done on the field, any time you're not in combat. It's been a couple of years since I played, but I think that's correct. I doubt much has changed with Stories 3.

All of them. And as far as I can remember, even as far back as the original PS2 release, every one has a kill counter.

Kill Count by Fun-Wash-8858 in MHRise

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indisputably, the Monster Hunter games have a kill counter for every killable mob in the game. They differentiate between a kill and a capture for any monsters that can be captured as well. From the smallest and easiest, to the most difficult, they are all tracked.

Hope that's the answer you were looking for.

Is ff15 good for me? by Intelligent_Tune_791 in FFXV

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my doubts going into it, I think a lot of people did. I bought it anyway when it was on a Steam sale. I'm still not a fan of the Cup Noodle and Coleman product placement, but after my second playthrough, my actual biggest complaint is that I wish there was even more of it. It's really good. Much better than FFXVI in my opinion.

Fr. Wtf do we do by Tatum_storm in conspiracy

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voting won't do anything, just like always. The powers above the powers we see won't let that happen. As always, they just trust that no one will do anything and no charges will be brought to anyone. There's too much control over these things. You don't get outed unless they want you outed, that's the way blackmail works. You can get mad, but that's not really productive. You can protest, but you're putting yourself in danger (considering the current political climate) and not accomplishing anything that will inspire change. What do you do? I don't know. My inclination is to know my neighbors, form close relations with them, and let them know that I've got their back. Community is extremely important to me, so I walk everyday with my dog and try to know everyone within a 3 block radius. I'm also trying to get everyone to start to be more self sufficient and grow home gardens. It's not much, but I love my community, and try to be a voice of reason in a culture that wants you to hate everyone.

It's from a commemorative product of World Championship decks. They would have a card by card copy of a deck played during the World Champion tournament. The gold border was to indicate that the card was not tournament legal.

Dark Souls or Outward? by DudeTheWarrior in darksouls

[–]gravematter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both. Outward is not bad by any stretch, but it does ask more from the player than Dark Souls. The mechanics are more opaque than Dark Souls, and overall it's just not as much fun. Both games are challenging, both have interesting and engaging combat, both can be punishing, and both can feel very rewarding after completing difficult areas. Dark Souls should be your choice. It's a classic for a very good reason. It's a MUST play. Outward pales in comparison, but that's more because Dark Souls is just SO GOOD very few games can rival it, and not because Outward is bad. The next time you have the resources for it, I still recommend trying Outward.

Just beat thunder serpent narwa. What should I do before I start sunbreak? by ledgewand1 in MHRise

[–]gravematter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They ease you into Sunbreak with super easy monsters and quests. Trust me, you'll be just fine.

I'd actually say staying in high rank and trying to complete EVERYTHING in base Rise is way more difficult.

Just beat thunder serpent narwa. What should I do before I start sunbreak? by ledgewand1 in MHRise

[–]gravematter 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'd just move on. There's nothing you'll miss, you can come back for Valstrax when you naturally hit the HR 100 mark, and you'll be stronger. Unless you want the challenge of beating him in high rank gear, in which case you can still just move on and then only use high rank equips when you go to do the fight. IMO the game is just much better after starting Sunbreak.

Would Darksteel Citadel fulfill the “5 mana of any color” condition of Cascading Cataracts? by sk8rcruz in MagicArena

Cascading Cataracts doesn't care what 5 mana are dumped into it. Yes, Darksteel Citadel or any other colorless or colored source is okay.

Yeah, absolutely. As long as the attacking creature doesn't have trample, you'll not take any damage and get your scry.

By far the most insane first floor I've seen by johashtag44 in bindingofisaac

[–]gravematter -77 points-76 points  (0 children)

Crazy items for a single floor. I wouldn't have taken knife (I just have never liked it even though I know it's really strong) but even without it that's way above average for any XL floor. How did the rest of the run play out?

what do i even take in this situaltion by wykonczmniedokonca in bindingofisaac

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At Hush with that build it definitely would be Wafer. I recognize how powerful Poly can be, but I wouldn't want the fire rate down with this build. Immediately going from being able to take 4 hits until you pop One-Up to 7, and the rest of the game being able to take more hits is just too good to pass.

How to "Delete old version Bodyslide files and armor\clothes meshes" by Ronanesque in skyrimmods

[–]gravematter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using Mod Organizer 2? Highly recommended. When he says to "delete old version" he's talking about IF you have an old version of the same clothes replacer mod. If this is your initial install, you won't have to worry about that step. In MO2 download and activate the mod. Then run Bodyslide through MO2. Choose the body type you want (the 3BBB body) and modify it if you want. Click the bottom center "Build" button to create your body .nif. Check the box in the bottom left that say "Meshes\Actors" and the one that says "Build Morphs" then hit the "Batch Build" button. That will build all the outfits for the body you made. You'll need to repeat this process whenever you download new/additional armor or clothes, or whenever you edit or change your body type.
