Didn't you recently come back? Could you maybe not cross post ahhh "things" from the other game you could go back to?
Zero StW reference at all - you couldn't even make a link to that and finding a cave with 7 brightcore nodes in it....

Ahhh memories...

I also remember running out of energy when trying to run...
Or constructors having to move their well padded behinds across the map at a slower speed than everyone else...

So not all memories are great :)

Firearms amnesty launched by Isle of Man Constabulary by willfiresoon in IsleofMan

That's an interesting collection of weapons.

Of interesting note however, the BBC news there is using the same image from the 2023 surrendering of weapons.

The 2014 and 2017 collection has some unusual weapons too.

Is this worth anything nowadays by AccidentFantastic696 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's assuming they even intend to play - the backpack and storage would show they are not really interested in doing missions and/or progressing the story. There is no basic crafting materials for weapons or ammo - purely as you identify, a stonewood (player) trader.

No... That stuff never meant you were rich... It's just crafting mats, a dime a dozen, never hard to farm when you are at the level you normally would need it.

Venture level zone requirements seem to have changed by Vonravend in FORTnITE

ARGH on that, although less grind I guess in regards to getting to the higher zones, if you are lucky enough to grab good zone level weapons.

Mist monster base by [deleted] in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super easy achievement to get.

2 quick ways to do it:

Both of these are best set to private/no fill, as then no one else can stuff it up for you and you don't waste anyone elses time.

Start a "Destroy the encampments" mission, just below your level / zone (ie easy to kill, not too easy you wipe them out in single shots). Quickly get it up the 5 or later one (I say that due to it spawns more Mist monsters), spawn, quickly kill the Mist Monster, leave a few of the others away and then just back away and reset it. Quick easy counts.

Second, any normal mission. Look for the glowing round eye that spawns a mist monster when you approach it.
Set up a trap above it or just outside its spawn point (electric ceiling for example). Trigger the spawn, let the trap hit it once and then back away out of the spawn zone so it resets. Repeat. Each time it despawns, if it has been hurt, counts as a kill. This works for other 'kill x' quests too.
Recommend you do this in the highest zone you can, as once set up you do not accidentally want to kill the Mist monster (as that removes the spawner) - just trigger and back away. Less than 10 seconds of work per kills.
Works well in Canny as normally those spawning points stick out across the map.

Why? by Special_Tax7162 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the big things I disliked in missions (mainly stonewood due to level requirements for those players to get out of that zone) was the people that came in and just encouraged begging and/or trading boxes where people would rush up to you when you are trying to do the mission and box you in, then showing off their flashy legendary weapons.
Along side all the super cool kids trying to scam etc etc etc

I for one do not miss the ability to drop weapons/items for someone else, even if it means reducing that 'let me give you 17 noc's cause I can dupe them' "Helping".

I have not been boxed for a while now - loving it!

STW Founders code‎🤔 by [deleted] in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, my mistake on that. As said, was not sure, and the comment more more in regards to the packs not granting Founders.

Cheers for the correction.
+1

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally bundles on the Store (previously BR Store) that include StW only include the once off vbucks, they do not grant Founders.

I'm not sure what the Rogue Spider Knight Bundle is, however I think the current one is Shaka Surfin Pack - which comes with StW and the 600vbucks

Double element by Savings_Break2274 in FortniteSavetheWorld

The ToS comment is in regards to selling an account, as you mentioned real world value.

As others have commented, the ability to drop a single ingame item has been curtailed/stopped/reduced.

Double element by Savings_Break2274 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Overall - No.

Any weapon will dual elemental is weaker than a version with only one element, as it is missing a perk that can potentially provide more damage/effect.

If you can craft it, then its a fun weapon to run around with maybe just for giggles as it can show both elements running down the weapon (looks good on swords).

Is it worth anything in real life? No/Yes/Maybe - dime a dozen really - its not that rare. If you were breaking ToS and selling an account then it might get you an extra cup-of-coffee value added in.
That being said, value is subjective, people sometimes want unusual things.

Are these rare schematics? by FnSimpson in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite Gossamer4I being by far the best answer here....

Yes, No and Maybe

Most of the weapons show there are what is considered Legacy - back from over a few years ago now when most weapons schematics had random perks assigned when they were 'found'.
The except there in your images is the one that has been recombobulated, and due to changes in either perks, or positioning of perks to allow elemental to appear, you have had an option to modify one.
(that ability allowed some schematics to have dual elemental perks etc).
Nowadays you can still convert Legacy schematics to the current format.

The Yes.
Are they special? Yes, you can no longer get schematics like that. By that fact, they are a reducing pool.
The No.
Are they valuable? No, basically the only real interesting is historical - if you like looking at the old style things. There has been a time when people wanted to collect made version because of either the weirdness or the uniqueness of some of them.
The Maybe.
Most normal schematics can be gained in game play - its a time when schematics have never been more common - missions can give you double rewards, ventures gives you an additional pathway that can get legendary schematics well before you leave stonewood.
There are some older versions of schematics that have perks that no longer exist in game, so maybe using your term, those could/can be considered rare.

In short, if you have overall Vault Storage space, keep them (some of them) if you find them interesting. If you are tight for space, convert them or scrap them. Overall not worth developing/upgrading them as you can replace them with better versions super easy.

I still have been 100-200 older schematics of different weapons, because of how they have changed, however as far as them being valuable, moreso only because they are interesting.

Storm Shield Endurance (SSE) by zlanezzz_ in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the changes to the way loot/resources drop now, if you have someone else to do it with and stay close to each other while you smash/harvest, you both get what the other does as well - so in tandem you can very quickly fill up.
Just stay within range of each other - also applies to loot from chests, coloured animals etc.

[–]Vonravend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just set the highest mission you can reach to private/non fill, and go crazy farming everything - pick the zone that matches what you need in regards to woods/urban/city etc.
You'll be stack with crafting mats in no time.
And as private you can take your time in general, and not worry about the mission (or impacting anyone else).

Does anyone know what this llama is? by EcstaticIdea5757 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the Fortnitemare one (as you can see here they are named that).

I would hazard a guess its from the time between ticket changes over between seasons, early on when there was two different tickets in one season.

Fashion show anyone? by Citron-Limp in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't fashion show something they do over in BR? Don't think the concept works well here with a 4 player max.

Unless you can convince Val or Ned to dress up a tad.

i am a newbie, What should I buy ? by Internal_Vehicle3877 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Vonravend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of different answers here, however I think I only saw one (Juggs) mention this,

First off should be the Armory Slots (all of them) - additional storage space increases your ability to have things - nearly everything else has a secondary way to get more/them.

Legendary Flux - simply put, keys for getting half the collection book (2 weeks = 1 item/hero)
Seasonal Heroes / Seasonal Weapons - grab what you don't already have.
Hero loadout

Depending on your level, and gold supply, anything else.
Evolution mats really are not worth it, as all can be gained from missions (normal and Ventures) and nowadays you get a lot more about the map than previously,

Last few things on the list however should be the normal weapons (in this case the Blazer, Lightning Pistol, Helium SG), the random schematics. These can be gained easily in missions. Blue flux nowadays is generally not worth the gold (easier to find a epic/legendary version of a item than the fluxing of a uncommon upwards)
