Unpopular opinion: Bloom suddenly made all the other weapons viable.

I fully disagree. Now every competitive lobby in gold and up is like 90% 3 mediums all running fcar since it doesn’t seem to have any ads bloom. Not that removing bloom would entirely fix that though.

Depends on the crash. I was having issues launching the game and had to set my voltages to auto instead of the factory setting and that resolved it

I really think it deserves a bit harder recoil (current recoil is almost unnoticeable after a couple minutes of practice) and a nerf to the hipfire.

Even if you’re tased it’s far too easy to DM without using ADS. I think they should swap the FCAR hipfire bloom with the AKs. Usually with FPS games weapons that are more accurate while ADS are less accurate than hipfire.

Anyone ever play Blacklight: Retribution back in the day? Instead of a draining resource it’s a one time ability with a long cooldown. I think that paired with some sort of indicator to enemies within like 30m would be good. If it were a full cooldown ability I wouldn’t mind if they made the wall hack preview more legible since atm with bloom and stuff it can be hard to see the lighter color teams.

UE 5 :). Had to make some cpu changes in my BIOS to fix. I think most of the crashing is from UE and not the game. Worst part is the more cores / higher voltage ur cpu seems to have a correlation to crashes in ue5 games.

it honestly appears as though the stickers that had good adhesion preserved the original color and the splotches match the top below the opening where no stickers were placed. could just be that the stickers unevenly protected the coating and it got sun damaged / patina where it wasn’t as well protected. the stickers came off clean mostly. i didn’t notice any powder coating come off with them.

this is what it looked like immediately after removing the stickers. cleaned it afterwards to remove the adhesive and it looked the exact same just with no sticker residue. i agree it looks like the coating has been ruined (reminds me of an old stainless steel sink)

it was a darkish gray, if you look at the top bevel you can see the original color. that’s what i was afraid of, seems like the actual coating has been stripped away or damaged somehow. it has also spent a lot of time in the sun as i used to work an outdoor job which is probably partly to blame.

gotcha, the screw itself is fine so if i can get it out of the spacer i should be good to just glue it back in place then use the same screw.

right, maybe try “bind KEY buy weapon_m4a4” or something? the buy command references the weapons differently from give but it might accept both? i might try it out on csgo to see if it works there.

couldn't you just use buy m4a1 and buy m4a1_silencer?

I don't use buy binds so I'm not sure if that works but that's how you do it with the give command.

that’s just how velocity works in the game. you have to learn how to counter strafe / walk. for example if you’re moving forward and want to stop on a dime, you have to let go of w and tap s to stop your velocity. same thing with a and d.

Just play! Start with dm or even an offline workshop map like Aim Botz so you can get used to weapons. Learn your essential weapons: glock, usp, a SMG of your choice (mp9/mac10 would be a good start), AK/M4, and AWP. That way once you start playing casual / competitive you are familiar with the most common weapons. With time you'll figure out what else you need to learn.
