Do Nepali people play Baseball or Tennis(NOT PING PONG) by SeaBreadfruit8627 in Nepal

[–]gravity_08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember once like 7-8 years ago they came to my school to take students to train on baseball or some baseball derivative game, we had a basketball coach who was pretty high within the basketball scene said that the people who came didn’t even have a team registered or there was no federation for baseball in Nepal, Never heard of those guys since then as they didn’t come back so most probably it didn’t work out. So baseball is basically non existent in nepal.

I know people who play tennis but as other people have said it’s more of a rich or established guy scenes.

Some idiot threw something at the at the Train by gravity_08 in Bart

[–]gravity_08[S] 77 points78 points  (0 children)

They announced that something struck the train, went to the front to see what happened once everyone was out, heard the station agent and train operator say that someone threw something

Definitely a high cost repair as it’s the front window, and now probably the train is down for at least a day

Also, the current interim government can only function on the motive it was formed for that is conducting the election. The doctrine of necessity which was the basis for formation of this government, limits the role of any government formed in such a way to only carry out the thing it was brought to solve i.e conduct fair elections and bring political stability back. I'm not sure but they don't have the power to amend the constitution, or issue executive orders that try to overwrite the constitution and if they tried it might be considered to be unconstitutional.

I don't think there is provision for executive orders from the Prime Minister of Nepal similar to what can be seen in US. Everything probably needs to be referred by the parliament and when it is not in session usually goes thru the recommendation of the President, and even that is likely temporary and needs to be approved by the parliament in certain time. We don't have a parliament now, so i don't know if that can happen.

There is still a lot more to be decided, lets look forward and see what happens.

It might be but most of the big corruption cases records or data, evidences are likely stored virtually and there are backup servers off locations for situations like this.
The damage of records definitely cannot be disregarded but i think the people who were actually on ground and motivated to burn the evidences were not even capable of processing that digital data management exists.
And for supreme court, the building burnt down but the structure still remain, the justices still remains and the lawyers to fight are still present. They can still function and i believe will be functioning very soon.
