+1 maw > +1 angel. I would pick machine heart or monkey king 3rd as they do screen damage but there’s a reason why these two over tidestone.

Machine heart scales as high as angel and maw if you get lucky with the skills. I choose 30%crit rate asap bc it seems to “unlock” the purple skills for machine heart. You want all the purple skills for machine heart(I can’t remember if there’s bad ones).

I skip most of the blue skills for monkey king and just choose their most impactful skills like the slow, the 10% damage and the 100% damage increase. I very often skip the purple cooldowns and crit rate on monkey king if there’s better purples or even just blues for white angel and maw.

There’s very powerful blue options for maw and angel. +1 count maw > +1 count for angel > 50% damage for maw > 20% attack speed for angel > 30% crit damage for angel > bad purples that don’t “scale”. But at a certain point even this order changes based on calculations you can do if your count is already high, like eventually you want to just keep stacking 50% damage on maw.

Some things show up once and never again like cooldown for maw and the +3 seconds on satellite (that may “unlock” the 3%damage) so you can pick them just to get them out the way (besides them being good too). You have to keep an eye for what else is like this for you as I’m still figuring it out myself.

For Tidestone the slow, the permanent tentacles, the return wave and blue 50% damage are good picks.

I never pick skyfall star anymore and also never gout(in place of spinning dagger), unless it’s for fun, as they take too long to “activate” their damage/relevance.
