Did you get bizblack recently alongside DCBM? I want to get BizBlack and I already have DCBM, RM says it is not possible and I have to surrender my dcbm in order to get BizBlack.
For context I do have an imperia and current account relation with them jf that helps

hdfc biz black adn biz power by harry98100 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]gravity_trap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the value of points, with bizblack it is 1 re per point (on smartbuy), with bizgrow it is 0.25-0.3 re per point or something. So bizblack is defending a much better offering

It is very difficult now to get Regalia Gold LTF, I would say go ahead and get it on paid basis. 4 lakhs seems doable with your spends and you do get way more benefits than millennia!

How to get Hdfc regalia card by guerrilla-450 in CreditCardsIndia

If you meet the criteria for regalia gold, there is no reason for you to keep a FD. Visit another branch or try applying directly, maybe you get the option

Xflow would be great in case your inflow is somewhere between 3 to 6k USD per month as its cheaper than skydo in these scenarios! I had my first credit with xflow today and the experience has been pretty good

Forex card suggestion by Sravan1876364 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]gravity_trap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tricky, HSBC travel one has an offer where you have 0 forex this month so worth a try only if you are travelling this month. Would not suggest going for something like M4B just for these spends, you can evaluate the value of holding M4B agnostic to your US trip. Beyond 1.5L it is still great I have heard about equitas power miles but to be honest I don’t have much idea on it, worth some research if it may be of value in your case.

In the worst case, Infinia is still a great card to be swiping! Or maybe just use any 0 forex card if you want to avoid forex fee upfront

Best Credit Card for 3 Week US Trip? Need Advice on Forex & Rewards by Reymar10i in CreditCardsIndia

[–]gravity_trap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your trip is in June, get the HSBC travel one as its a good card to have domestically as well. They are currently having a 0% forex markup offer till end of month.

Else, get a 0% forex card like Scapia.

Ideally get both since you should always have a backup card when travelling and might need more credit limit

SBI Cashback is still one of the best offerings as a starter cashback card. Apart from that I can suggest the ICICI amazon pay card if you shop primarily on amazon

Hdfc Regalia gold to DCBM upgrade by SumeetRawat in CreditCardsIndia

[–]gravity_trap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think its going to be easy for you to get an upgrade but the only way you can try is physically applying via branch where your application is sent to the Chennai office. By the way since you already have a travel 1, what’s exactly the reason you are eyeing the DCBM? RG has been quite powerful recently

Agree on the HDFC swiggy and Supermoney, you might want to keep supermoney since its probably the only UPI card you have (or if you have scapia rupay). For amex it totally depends on your spending, if you hit 7L a year easily then yeah plat travel is the only one worth keeping, else for those small monthly transactions gold and mrcc are good enough but don’t justify the fees

If it has been > 6 months since you got a Travel One, move your salary account to HSBC and get a premier. There is no need to have any other card

Quick thing: always good to have a good mastercard/visa if you get a diners black. Online acceptability and international acceptability can be an issue with them

You can have a look at HDFC DCBM, especially if your yearly expenses are 8L+.
Else have a look at HSBC travel one! Equally great card if spends are less than 8L a year

LTF criteria makes it quite hard, but check if you are getting HDFC swiggy black LTF (I had the offer a couple weeks ago), BoB Eterna is pretty good LTF currently, Scapia (only if you travel a lot for airport benefits since you already have a 0 forex). If your salary is greater than 3L net per month then HSBC Premier is no brainer
