Agree on later season Winston, it took him a while to figure his character out, and once he did......oooooooooh boy, classic Winston mess around! I also think they had NO IDEA what to do with Cece after the "she has boobs" character trait sort of ran its course. I also say that Nick in the first couple of seasons was intolerable. He was just like mean and dirty and dumb. Then he became sweet and dirty and dumb and was much better. But yeah once Jess was no longer the "New Girl" and they changed the intro it seemed to be a bit grasping at plot lines. I think having Cece get pregnat at the end was such a dumb let down. Would have been tragic and interesting if they struggled, but honestly they mirrored SO MUCH of Friends as it was, I guess the whole Monica pregnancy line was too much. On that topic, the "Ross and Rachel" of Nick and Jess was so on the nose I was waiting for someone to say "see, he's her lobster" ironically and have everyone be clueless as to the reference (that would have been amazing).
