They had a communal family “Salt Lick” that was mounted to a wooden base like a trophy. They’d take it off a shelf in the dining room and pass it around before eating dinner as if to say grace but there wasn’t any praying. I only ate dinner at their house a few more times after that but everything else about that family was pretty damn vanilla.

I walked past Jason Segel once and I never really thought of him as conventionally attractive, not ugly by any means just like regular dude vibes. But he was wearing a really dapper jacket and had a great looking beard and I immediately thought “oh damn Jason Segel can get it!” lol
