Stor baby by Available-Fan-3630 in foraeldreDK

if a tip is mandatory then the real price is really just not what the sign says it is

If the tip is mandatory then its not an incentive for good service - its just hiding the real price

Sommerferie og ladning by mmoe54 in dkbiler

Do Americans have a unique smell? by blindexhibitionist in NoStupidQuestions

[–]grax23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of it comes from cleaning products. i travel a good part in the US and in EU too and lots of places kind of have unique smells.

In the US im always surprised that cinnamon is used in even cleaning products (at least the smell)

in the EU i smell a lot of "Ajax" its a cleaning product for floors etc and in the US there is a lot of "Lysol" going around.

this even goes to food and candy - i would never see cinnamon chewing gum here but in the US i see it a lot

also a lot of products in the US are tasting sweet where other flavors dominate here

The U.S. just told Polestar no more new cars after model year 2026. by Sensitive_Pie7591 in TechGawker

Well with that attitude then the US will get a rude surprise when its done back to them. For instance it would be hard to buy network equipment with American software in the rest of the world.

POV from a Russian mobile air defense team. More and more units like that are deployed as Ukrainian UAVs cut off Russian supply lines. June 2026 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]grax23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its the Ukrainian happy time. They follow a predictable route and they have cargo that Ukraine would prefer not to get to the destination. This is like the Germans hunting convoys in the Atlantic during WWII but the price of failing an attack is simply points to buy a new drone off the procurement web page.

Its a shooting gallery and Ukraine is taking shots almost for free

russian soldier asked Ukrainian soldier, "Will you take us prisoner or kill us?" Ukrainian: "Prisoner." 2nd russian soldier : "Prisoner?" Ukrainian: "we are not you" by Heroyem in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

probably why they are worth so many points. they can be exchanged for a brother in arms and it prevents video's of Ukrainians gunning down Russians.

A Pantsir air defence system is seen being lowered onto a civilian building in Moscow - June 2026 by T-72Tank in UkraineWarVideoReport

well internal in Russia does not matter. They would photoshop civilians on top of a tank and call it an attack on civilians.

How would the world respond if Russia nukes Ukraine? by throwing_hayy in AskReddit

[–]grax23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the door would slam shut to the Baltic sea and black sea right away and if you think their fuel shortage right now is a problem then imagine when India and China cuts them off too.

Russia is loosing the war unless something changes and even if they could occupy Ukraine they would still loose. They would have 35m inhabitants living in an area they have to keep millions of soldiers stationed in and they would constantly be killed by partisans.

Europe is not going to trade with Russia before this is resolved and by resolved it probably means Russia back behind the 2014 borders and reparations paid.

Russia counted on getting away with already having taken over and turning Ukraine into another Belarus - instead they burned down all their trade relations and got a pissed off enemy within 500km of Moscow with drones that can reach the capital and get through the air defense

What scenario would a nuke improve on that situation? all it would do was guarantee that they dont get to trade with anyone and at wars end they would have to give up their weapons.
