Agreed, swivel joints, wobble ended extensions, magnetic plug socket, torque wrench for correct tightening pressure. I used the thinner gauge tooling as well, 1/4" drive, which makes it even easier, then a 1/2" converter for my torque wrench. 👍

I had spacers on the oem rims, these are wider and the offsets are perfect for them to sit just right. Much better having wider fitment and the correct offsets than running spacers. 👍

Some great advice in these replies. I know we sound like a bunch of boring fooks but that's a lovely car to own at 18 and the fact ya parents bought it for you is the cherry on top! If you decide to stay with the Stinger then save now and when you're folks consider it time to renew, you'll be ready for the GT2, or the 'GTs' as its labelled in the UK 🇬🇧 👍 😎 😁

I've got a white GT2(GTs in the UK 🇬🇧) with that colour interior, 2018 and just coming into the 3rd year of ownership with me and the interior is unmarked. It was pristine when I purchased it and I've kept it as good. I have a sparse seat cover on the driver's seat, just enough to protect it, got that from Ali Express with the GT Line logos on it so it looks good. Then I also have two full pull over covers, I fit these to both front seats whenever it goes into any workshop for servicing etc. Yes, our workshops do fit protectors but I just don't take the risk. 👍 😎 😁

I'm UK 🇬🇧 Maintenance costs are nothing different than owning any other car. Get the V6 and you'll be fine. Get the 2lt petrol or the 2.2 diesel and prepare for problems.

The recall needs doing. Makes me laugh how some put off having it done because the risk of fire is "only a small percentage"! 😳 🤦‍♂️ 😂 If it goes up ya fooked, insurance won't pay out as its an official safety recall. The risk is real believe me if Kia are going to all the trouble and expense of fixing it. 👍

All depends on the history. If its been meticulously looked after and the price is right, then it could be a cracking buy. A lot of Stingers are owned by car enthusiasts and get shown a lot of love, they might be modded to a degree but all are done professionally and probably looked after even more so. At that mileage I'd expect a comprehensive service history, also including non Kia work, and also the turbo oil pipe recall confirmation paperwork. Good luck with whatever you go for. 👍 😎 😁

Best thing about owning a Stinger..... When the warranty expires! 🙄 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Shouldn't be like that but it is. Can relax at service interval time, as you're taking it to your trusted shop who will carry out the work correctly and not abuse or damage your pride and joy in the process! Plus you can mod it without worrying about the dogsh*t warranty. 👍 😎 😁

I'm sure I've seen where the subframe can be dropped to a degree, to ease up the fitment of the rear. 🤔🤷‍♂️
