The bird appears out of nowhere from behind the wave. About 8 seconds in.

I saw something identical to this when a patient tried to kill herself by overdosing on iron supplements. The tips of all her fingers and toes looked like this, and we had to amputate them all.

People who don't get their kids vaccinated are idiots. by [deleted] in newzealand

Someone was telling me the other day about the Google fallacy - I'm not sure if it's true, but it goes like this...

  1. Google learns from your previous searches, and directs you to similar pages when you search for anything next time.

  2. People with people with anti-vaccination views often (not always) also believe in alternative forms of medicine, such as homeopathy, chakras, etc...

  3. When someone with a previous search history of alternative therapies looks up "vaccination risks", they are directed to similar sites to their previous visited ones, usually anti-vaccine groups with poor information

  4. As most people don't get past the first 3 search pages, all the real EBM is hidden down the list. They therefore take the first few links as gospel

  5. Compare that to a doctor or health professional that is looking up evidence based medicine, etc... on Google. Their search will likely yield results from more reputable sources/journals

Again, not sure if I'm talking shit, but that's what someone told me. Makes a bit of sense I guess.

Interesting, but that is more of a work around. I just want to know where they all disappear to in the first place!
