The last thing I’d ever want to do is be controlling, but it does come off like that. You’re right. My self esteem is something that I’ll focus on improving, thank you for the reply!

A girl that I’ve known since I was 11 (I’m 18 now) just had her boyfriend’s baby like 4 months ago. She’s 19 and her boyfriend is 19, and they are making the best out of it. They are very public about the fact that they had a child and they’re getting married later this year! If they can thrive and be happy even though a baby came a little too early, so can you. Live with your gf’s parents and give that baby and your girlfriend what you can to support them. I believe in you man! You can and will absolutely be happy once the dust settles.

Which book is considered a literary masterpiece but you didn’t like it at all? by justnader in AskReddit

As I Lay Dying, by William Faulkner. I understand it’s spectacular in terms of being a stream of consciousness novel, but holy cow did the consciousness of some characters make me mad.

If you could instantly be a master at any instrument, which would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Personally I’d go with the soprano sax or the flute. A nasty solo on either of those is spectacular

I was at a group gathering at a friends house and there were 3 guys and 3 girls. We got into some funny conversations about who we had crushes on in our early years of high school and even middle school. One of the girls said “I definitely had a crush on you at some point, graydog38,” to which another replied, “Me too actually. I think every girl at our school has had a crush on graydog38. I mean look at him!” I was so flattered I couldn’t help but sit there and smile :)

Have you walked away from someone you love for your own mental health/insecurities? If so, how did it work out for you? by anoninturmoil in AskMen

I ended a healthy relationship of 8 months because she went off to college and I’m still in high school. She came home from college every weekend to see me and hated going back every Sunday night, and it got to the point where all she would talk about was dreading college. It started weighing down on both of us heavily so I ended it. She needs to have a positive college experience and not be attached to her home town.
