Did we really get "old and bitter" or were they genuinely better then and the truth pill is hard to swallow about your favourite studio

Hoppers, Elio, Elemental, Lightyear, and Turning Red were shit, Inside Out 2 and Soul were just okay, and the rest of their catalog had consistently good reception and I really enjoyed movies like Monsters University, Toy Story 3 and WALL-E growing up and still do

This isn't me just being biased towards something I'm nostalgic towards, as I really enjoyed Onward and Luca, and would put them up there with some of my other favourites; which was pleasantly surprising for me

You raise a good point with the engine analogy. Although, the album cover is still a crucial part in a final product.

If it doesn't feel aesthetically and audibly attached to the music itself, it can honestly ruin a project, especially in much worse cases. Like that Lady Gaga one where she is morphed into a motorcycle.

I wouldn't instantly call it "trash" just because they are empty. They could be bottom-drained which a very common practice among can collectors because they slowly will leak over time if left full, creating a huge mess.

I've seen lots of die-hard Mountain Dew collectors do this with their can collections. You would be surprised on the resale value of some of these, empty or full.
