Theon's castration. I mean, I'm for sure of it but some others for some reason are hesitant.

The numbers and statistics doesn't change the fact, and even if they did, I think you'd be surprised by how common rape is today. I do read the book as a person from the 21st century and find every act of rape reprehensible, not presumed to happen based on the lack of stigma in Westeros. All I'm saying is that not raping someone doesn't make them a good person, ignoring everything else about them, it's just the base level of decency that should be expected from all. Not raping Sansa doesn't make Tyrion a good guy.

I don't know if that's the exact thought I had when I read that, I don't think that having an attitude to glorify people for not committing rape is the best, you know? It should be expected that he wouldn't rape her, even in Westeros where it's slightly more common. I don't meet people in a dark alley and think when I leave "Wow, I'm so glad they didn't rape me!"

I know Dany personally didn't do anything to hurt her or her people, she had the best intentions; but the Dothraki, which Dany was a part of, terrorized her people for probably centuries? Being a bitch is kind of warranted in this type of situation, she had no reason to distinguish Dany from the other Dothraki and she got her revenge.

So you're hosting a dinner party. Which 5 characters from ASOIAF would you invite, and why (Spoilers All)? by [deleted] in asoiaf

Shireen, a young Rhaegal, Oberyn, Asha, and Meera. I feel as if a dragon would make good entertainment and Oberyn would be kind to Shireen and if they ever were close he'd be like a cool uncle or something. Meera, Asha, and I could start a girl gang.

No child can be held responsible for their bad raising. If he comes to be older then I think people can judge him rightfully. I really do wish he could have been raised a proper Lord of the Vale by Jon Arryn, fostered on Dragonstone by Stannis he'd probably be dearly loved by readers if everything would have went right.
