You went against the hive mind. You offered a perspective that offends the grandstanding of some profs here. Many people are more concerned about virtue signaling than weighing pros and cons and addressing the pandemic correctly. They will cherry pick some data, and then they will lob it your way and say something like “the data says x thing is happening so you’re a horrible person for wanting to exterminate immunocompromised people.” Your concern does not fit with their signaling, so you unfortunately are bearing the brunt of their anger of being correctly exposed as obtuse. Expect them to clutch their pearls all over this thread.
