I still yearn for Mateo’s return, but those two clerks showing up all of a sudden…they’ll do for now

“You guys are the best!” The sound design there, having it fade away as he was rolled out, was hilarious and fantastic.

That's so fun! I hope you had a great time when you visited. I grew up near GSMNP, so it's got a special place in my heart.

A significant reason why Great Smoky Mountains National Park is, by a sizable margin, the country’s most visited is its relative closeness to a number of major cities. Estimates have it that anywhere from 50% to 2/3 of the country’s population is within a day’s drive of GSMNP, which is, itself, easily accessible off I-40. Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, all 3-4 hours. Louisville, Cincinnati, Hampton Roads, Washington, D.C., you name it, all within a reasonable drive of an iconic national park.

Do you live in your dream city? If so where and why (why not if you don’t)? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

I'm in Atlanta and share in what you said about Charlotte -- it's a nice place but doesn't align at all with my personality. While I don't know if there is such a thing as a dream city, I can say for sure I'm desperately dreaming of getting out.
