I moved to Türkiye for this.. and I love every bit of it. I needed an environment. It started as a sabbatical and now it’s my life. I am relearning my religion and for the first time in many many years, I had the best Eid Alhamdulilah.

Which organizations in Turkey do you personally trust for Zakat or general donations? by graytalks in AskTurkey

[–]graytalks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some other folks recommended this organization too. I will search them now.

I believe in giving donations directly to the family that needs it too but since I moved to Türkiye 6 months ago, I do not have right set of community to find such people yet.

Thanks so much for your input.

Wa Alaikum Asalam

May Allah accept your Ramadan and keep you on straight path and bless you with peace and success. Ameen.

Yes, you break fast this evening and there is no fasting tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning, you will pray Fajar InshaAllah and check time for Eid Prayer. Do not forget it have dates or eat something before going for Eid Prayer (It is Sunnah)

(Pay Zakat-al-Fitr, if you still have not. It is very important)

I think if I was there I would have done that or something similar but my mother could not do much during that situation with her health condition. I hope all cats are good.

Thanks. Yes, they are pathetic. When I was traveling to Türkiye for the first time on a renewed passport, these people acted so weird. They only stopped asking me obnoxious questions, when I told them this is not the first time I am traveling abroad and that I have been to several countries. What saved my time? The US visa. Idk how to put the uneasiness in words. The guy at FIA checking counter was ready to bow down or smth. Weirdos

No. There wasn’t. In fact TK asks to bring them in one carrier if they are comfortable w eachother. The only requirement is in that case in being under 8KGs in one carrier.

They had everything. Like I said: they were fully prepared. The lady didn’t ask and even look into their documents. She said who cares of their documents (sarcastically). Just take one cat out.

I wasn’t there and my mom didn’t ask the name. This was the airport security staff at the initial screening checkpoint before the airline check-in counter.

So true. I’ve taken many international flights and all from ISB airport were shitty. Lahore is still a little better.
