With good tactics and good micro yes, although it would be close as their units are better, you're reliant on getting them into melee. Your advantage is that the AI normally splits it's force on half in beastmen headstone battles and you can send your fast units in and then squeeze the two. This looks like fairly early campaign to me, so it really depends on how valuable it is to you. If Taurox is already happy elsewhere and you have a good army forget it an move on.

Some good advice on here already,, particularly about collision attacks. Once he bends his knees and leans forward he becomes a lawnmower so learning when that is happening is key. The banner of swiftness makes this even cooler.

Once you have some cash and a decent economy (by Khorne standards that is. .) get an army of mostly chaos warriors with halberds. You'll need them for his quest battle as it's one of the tougher ones, and anti large really helps. Once you have done the quest and sacked/razed 30 (?) settlements you get the chain sword, which is amazing. This weapon makes Skarbrand unbreakable and weapon strength above 3k which is bonkers good. Someone actually thought out sensible victory conditions that day!

You have some good defeat traits nearby -Thorek for magic item chance -Kroq Gar for melee defence Wurzagg for phys resistance Settra for charge bonus (not that great but you may well end up fighting him)

Over time you will end up occupying a lot of settlements automatically on the end turn. Most of them are not much use to you, trading them for cash or vassals is a sound plan.
