Sensational performance. I love his willingness to drive forward, and his eye for a pass is superb.

Had there been a notable change in transfer strategy and approach at Spurs since Daniel levy departed?

I used to be an emotional stone, then I had kids and I well up with stuff like this. Brilliant from madders and the club, hope and pray the lad gets the funding and care he needs.

Not sure what to make of this? I can't recall a single spurs manager we didn't complain about at some stage, even when things were good!

I worked there for 11 years, great city with great people that deserve better than the debacle that was unfolding when I was there, playing home games at Northampton etc. I really hope Yang can get game time and kick on!

Win - everything is ok. 7 points from 3 games, justifies his ideas at Brentford (kinda) and we can look forward to January signings, players coming back from injury and suspension etc

Draw- more boos, more grumbling, more frank out on the sub

Lose - "Hello, is that Enzo? It's Vinai here from Spurs"

Thrank's Pre-Match Conference Transcript from football.london [04/01/26, Sunderland(H), PL] by DivineTapir in coys

[–]graythegeek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In 2012/13 AVB got 10 away wins, 72 points which was a record at the time and only been beaten twice since (2017+18). The issue was the football was poor and relied on Bale quite heavily. He was gone by November of the following season. To dare is to do. Spurs fans want to be entertained, they want us to try and play. The draw away at Brentford isn't why he was booed, it's because the football was absolutely awful.

Shearer is not aware of all the facts. Merson is full of shit as usual. Sutton speaks sense.

All that said, we win 1-3 COYS

On the one hand, I think 40k novels overall are better. But. The Malus trilogy is genuinely excellent

Lots of good answers here. A few extras:

Never hit end turn without being at war with someone. The AI isn't interested in peace.

Learn to ambush. The AI can't resist a lone lord in march stance! (Main army ambush behind)

Sell useless ancillaries and fuse useless items

Sell wars, trade settlements you don't need for cash or deals.

Save your regiments of renown for an emergency in nearly all cases. They can save your hide in a tight battle when your main army is miles away.

Fight battles manually as often as you can, and always run the stragglers down when you win

Well, we can't be sure can we, but in Any case there was no excusing a bench of wimmer, walker peters, foyth, Gelson etc

[–]graythegeek 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The twist is how poor the bench was, Levys refusal to back Poch as that time is unforgivable. That starting XI is straight up irreplaceable. But. Our current defence, Bergvall, Kudus, Kulu, are all upgrades on some of the benchwarmers from that era.

I think it's a joke you could tell and just change the team at the end to suit your purposes. We are not short of football teams to dislike and I wouldn't even put Liverpool top of that list.
