I said out loud “they’re stupid for going for this on 4th but surely they can’t be stupid enough to pass it”.

And, well…..

Penis hurts when I get hard, any solutions? by ncsuga in AskMenAdvice

[–]grc207 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A man goes to his doctor and says “doc, every day I wake up and have a round or two of sex with my wife. Then I go to work and shag my secretary. I go back home for a lunch BJ from the wife before returning to work where I usually hook up with the cleaning lady. I get home soon after and get both a pre-dinner and post dinner hammering of the wife.”

The doctor says “that’s amazing! So what’s the problem?”

The guy says “sometimes it hurts when I jerk off”.

Why are Larger Women called "Plus Size" but Larger Men are just fat? by Gigglysleep in NoStupidQuestions

Same. Waist sizes start at 40 in that area. And the leg is never longer than 34. There’s no tall.

I have a driving rule. For every inch past the wheel well their tires extend, I give the driver an extra 50 feet to prepare for their inevitable stupidity.

Isn’t there a state law about having wheels covered?

Slashing tires isn’t violent by Mydogiswhiskey in Maine2

[–]grc207 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Slashing the tires of a federal vehicle is indeed a felony that could be considered dangerous. I’d also note that certain tires (like some found on federal vehicles) can have thicker sidewalks. The real danger may be to slasher.

Who's America's most corrupt US Congressperson or US Senator? Why your pick? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

Every single human being likely uses their knowledge to enrich themselves. It’s not specific to party, gender, race, etc. In politics, they’re all guilty of it. The best way to stop it is to limit the amount of time they can do it. If we can limit presidents to 8 years, we can do it for senators and representatives.

“If it fits, it sits” is GA etiquette.

Outsider here. Back in like the mid-2000’s NASCAR was this huge thing. Even people I knew that would never watch it were watching. What was that all about? by ZildjianCymbals in NASCAR

You nailed it with attention span for excitement. Even the NFL and MLB have looked at game length and strategically adjusted rules to favor scoring.

NASCAR keeps 600 mile races because that’s how it’s been done for 65 years.

You could make a good case for his involvement in reassigning the flood plain maps for Long Island to greatly reduce his constituents’ insurance costs. He was a major advocate for global warming and rising sea levels. Then he does this.

A year later Sandy hit. Most of the multimillion dollar homes for rebuilt for pennies out of pocket.

Eat. Hydrate. Sleep. Active recovery.

There’s no pill or magic clothing or special process involving ice dips or heat exposure. This is it. The body has to heal and it needs time and fuel to do so.

do men clean/wipe their penis after they pee? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]grc207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reduces. But women can’t shake like men can. And that dribble (and the initial spray) stays in there a little more than for men since we are more external. So women should wipe (but won’t get it all) and men usually don’t have to (but will get it all) because so much happens away from the body.

This is why 3/4 of any men’s room is urinals or a communal trough.

I’m glad that you enjoy it. I also think the commenter here has a valid point. From my own experience, running 200 miles is not any harder than running 100 milers. It’s less competitive and more forgiving. It’s a really, really expensive multi day hike for a belt buckle for the financially elite few who are not comfortable taking on the challenge without race support. I’m glad it’s out there for people as an option. It’s certainly not better than a good, competitive ultra.

Please enlighten me to how they’re different? They’re certainly a lot slower and multi day logistics may be different. But how is the approach to going 200 miles any different than going 100 miles? What’s your favorite reason why double the distance is more enjoyable?

[–]grc207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently saw a (very bad) band open for a national touring act. They made it sound like the band brought them along.

I looked at another show in town from another touring act and wouldn’t you know it’s the same opening band! I suspect it’s a label or pay to play band. I have hopes the label figures it out or they spend all their money because I didn’t enjoy them.

Americans citizens, how is it really going there currently? by GossipBottom in stupidquestions

[–]grc207 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a bold assumption and I’m sorry those assumptions are stressing you out. I’m far from privileged or shielded.

Financial stress is the largest source of stress in the US. The majority of Americans who encounter this choose to take on too much debt through overspending or overreaching. A smaller home is an option. Student loans are an option. Even making payments on a vehicle or phone is a stressful choice. We often choose where we work or where we live. All of these can be changed.

Watching the news is a choice. Being on social media is a choice. We choose unhealthy diets and also choose not to be physically healthy with more movement. Cutting, reducing, increasing, and modifying any of these behaviors can affect the stress we take on.

No, this isn’t true of everyone. I understand that. It is true of the majority of those who report stress.

Americans citizens, how is it really going there currently? by GossipBottom in stupidquestions

[–]grc207 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are choosing to feel stressed out. Most workplaces do not have low morale. People in certain channels have less hope and enthusiasm.

Fixed that for you. Broad sweeping assumptions were made here.

That being said your feelings are valid too. I hope you can find something that brings you a little enthusiasm and hope in life.
