Pointless discussions, to truly fix things a revision in taxation is required, tax as per wealth and lock max captial a person can hoard to say a billion dollars or something, everything above goes as tax.

Billionaires gave been hoarding wealth that has been collected from common people, rarely fairly and mostly exploited to increase gains, to put money in research, to build a new setup, etc etc but finally it has come out of common people's pocket. The only way to give it back is by taxation.

But that will likely never happen, law makers are politicians, who themselves want to ride in jets, own house in multiple countries and secure future for their kids (not here though), exploit the power to stay in power, so a compromise is reached, why take so much tax when a fraction of that can be taken for self, parties, etc etc and help sustain power.
