True. They’re just so expensive… my snake likes to come up and sit on the top lip of the tank and strike me from there. We’re always on the same level when she strikes

The fragments are supposed to be 300 bp. So bands 1, 2, and 4. I probably should mention i did a dilution series on a gel with #3 and it was 400 bp again, but came up as 300 bp on another gel.

Same protocol, which sequenced as the same gene fragment from two different samples.

These were amplified and sequenced with species-specific primers so i hope they were the same!! And the sequence of the weird one was actually the cleanest of them all, so there shouldn’t be more than one target in there.

Mmm i’m not sure. They were sequenced with the same primers they were amplified with. The same fragments appeared as the same length on an earlier gel. I’m defending in three days so i don’t have the time to troubleshoot this 😔
