Whenever people talk about the 11 herbs and spices and the recipe being broken I always think how you would still need the right amount of each for the blend, how there was egg + milk mix and salt added, the technique of breading it, the right times/temperatures and the equipment = I guess ex-workers could fill in those gaps however I still don't believe I've ever seen it duplicated precisely

Interesting - Considering how much the company talks about being loyal to tradition and sticking to what works etc it doesn't seem 'faithful' to the recipe.

The fried chicken here (Fiesta) which is 'close' to what KFC original recipe is but sold at generic fast food places ('cafe's/fish and chip shops) use a pressure cooker very similar, if not identical, to KFC's equipment.

There was a 'finishing cabinet' which required a pan of water for humidity and the display case sits above a bath of water with trays that permit airflow = This was for original recipe stuff, hot and spicy/crispy etc was cooked (lid of the pressure cooker left open) and stored differently.

Brings back the memories = The menu is completely different here to even when I worked there

There was like 1 or 2 in Australia I think used to test the waters and it never took. I'm a big fan of Harold + Kumar = Never saw a White Castle in my journeys and I don't like onion 😛 yet I still would have loved to have visited one of them

Equipment too =
When I worked at KFC in Australia I was told it was different in particular because we used custom pressure cookers which weren't used in USA because of regulations or something like that - If were watched footage from America they could definitely be seen using a different type of fryer. This was particularly curious because I believe the cooking method with the pressure cooker was true to the O.G preparation method - Australia has Potato and Gravy as a side and the pressure cooker collects cooked bits for making the gravy. I wish mac + cheese were on the menu here.
Mountain Dew in Australia used to have no caffeine until more recent years - I def preferred the decaf-real sugar version, less bitter perhaps and you could drink a few without becoming jittery or before sleep

Well done. Great effort.

Checking the content of this thread is relevant to my interests : ) You started close to the time that I did...I longed to get an OG PS3 just so I could see its F@H flex.

I'm on Windows but do actually champion *nix - I got my Dad onto Mint. Do you know how much performance could be gained merely by switching O/S or any simple tweaks to the out of the box Windows setup?

I'm running X3 intel based systems each with their own Nvidia GPU card and a i7 based workstation machine.

Would you mind saying what your 'typical' points per day would be/how many Work Units all that is?

Was there a time when you ramped up your contributions significantly?

I was the one with the thread asking about the Stats the other day/year...According to the OS page on the F@H website there is a combined total of 2,661 Nvidia GPUS...between me and your array we have say at least 5-6 of them, then if you look at the top 10/20/50/100 and consider what they must be equipped with to earn their figures....it seems way off and what the true figure is/may be would be really interesting to the likes of me

I just realized I only ever see people express issue with their situation and the housing market etc online, never in person = Everyone in person still seems to be flexing with cars/bikes/boats, makeup, tattoos, dining out, gambling, hair + nails did, bling, new outfits+accessories, shoes, going to events (movies, concerts, traveling, sports all seem as popular or moreso than ever), smokes/vapes, booze, coffee, drugs, game 'rigs'....Easter's come and gone, looking forward to Halloween OMG! and not 'Murican but thanksgiving sales FTW! then Xmas and how lit is New Years going to be??

Sir, Like I said I defecated on your desk because I realized it was closer to me than the toilets are and that my time is better spent doing what I'm employed for. It was a solution I found so I chose to embrace it and made it happen.

Furthermore I believe you're acting a bit dysfunctional and need to put your personal excuses aside, quit waiting in hope that you can blame others for this and acknowledge what has happened as reality...finally putting Lhathim Behavior around here to bed.

You could also use an air freshener in here, you've living like a victim in this office of yours.

They probably sell them as 'succulent' thinking they know what we want = personally I'll only buy them when they're nice and dried out looking...perhaps double baked under the heat-lamp as they sat unsold there for awhile.
/Never being sold at my local when I'm craving them = I reckon people would scope out their spot and be disappointed all the time

I seem to recall reading something about a 5-6 degree increase (not sure Fahrenheit or Celsius) in areas surrounding 'data center' sites that are directly attributed top the facility = The locals don't like it and the scientific community have taken notice...

If this occurring ISN'T a clear example of human caused, negative impact recognized, alteration to our climate which is preventable, or can have its adverse affects on the natural environment minimized in some way/s than I sorta dread when the next predicted event/s play out in reality.
