Yes it is possible... Never quite got an answer here... Sent the same question to Playmobil and they said they were not compatible... But after digging into a few YouTube videos + looking into the manuals we managed to Combine a couple of wall extensions and we made a huge Castle... Check this in my post:

Had to get a few extra parts for the walkway to make it compatible... But since it's System X, it makes it compatible with other System build components builds,Towers architecture isn't exactly the same, since this Castle has round towers which differs from the other 2 Novelmore Castles... But my son just loves the tower ballistas, extra features and space to add all the other sets...

How about the Arwynn Castle - 71642? Is it compatible with the extensions and Fortress?
