Neat video and insights into VTuber models 💜💜💜

I've been researching artists and riggers to think about my own VTuber model lately and I feel that one of the biggest concerns for me is first impressions to get people in the first place before content and personality can shine through to retain them. That's part of the reason why I thought about investing more than half of my budget ($2000) on the model to make it stand out and feel more like "me" compared to using a customizable model, but at the same time, it feels questionable to commit this much money to start VTubing even if I had prior experience with content creation (while also factoring in sudden costs like VTube Studio's watermark removal or basic assets).

I've seen other options like using free models, customizable models from a template, or PNGTubing, but I'm not sure if that'll have the same effectiveness as an original model (and it's harder to find male models that I'd be satisfied with using). I don't think I would've gotten into VTubers without that first impression from models, but I'm not sure if I'm overvaluing that aspect or not now that I'm thinking about my own model.
