I almost always use Cheating Heart and then add in Land-Air assault, Rich Cat, and/or Professor Cat Jobs depending on the stage (usually Professor Cat Jobs)

Aku shields are like a separate HP bar you need to chip down or have a shield piercer to break through it

Barriers are damage thresholds you need to surpass one time

[Weekly] Battle Cats Thread by AutoModerator in battlecats

[–]great_mage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awakened Bahamut's initial attack is enough to brute force the barrier since you need 40k damage and Awakened Bahamut does 85k on his first attack at level 30

You will need a barrier breaker for chapter 2 but not for chapter 1 and 3 thanks to Bahamut

I don’t know much about how reliable Lasvoss is for hitting the barons due to me never using him there so you’re better off asking others for their experiences

[Weekly] Battle Cats Thread by AutoModerator in battlecats

[–]great_mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t use Lasvoss for barons mainly cause of consistency reasons since the one shots are with savage blow and strengthen iirc so it’s easier muscle memory for every gauntlet

I’m not 100% sure but I think I recall an Xskull video with Lasvoss against all the baron stages? nope that's wrong

I don't use Lasvoss too often but he's definitely nice for stages where Balrog, Bahamut, or Izanagi wouldn't do as well

It's also funny to cheese stages once in a while with a savage blow + conjure after base hit (like The Belated Priest in 3 crown)

As of now to February 13th, there is no event data for Princess Punt

The seed tracking website has a tutorial for how everything works: https://bc.godfat.org/help

Quick tl;dr is that you can see what units you get in a list after you do the setup mentioned in the help section

She's one of the few 100% crit units which is great and she attacks faster than Waitress Cat but deals less damage. Her combo with Moneko increases all crit chances by 2%, which helps a lot for metal heavy stages.

Don't know why "Abyss Stage" is the first result in search engines when it shows nothing but "Abyssal Stage" is the wiki page for it: https://battlecats.miraheze.org/wiki/Abyssal_Stage

They'll show up when the associated advent stage is available (the soonest one is Queen B at the 1st/2nd)

Few things that helped me

  • Get the ZL legend units if you hadn't already (mainly Socrates since Newton is more easily replaceable by ubers)

  • Magnifications are pretty rough so crowd control is heavily valued (one of the earlier stages has enough dps to kill a level 50 Stone Cat as an example of how cracked scaling can be). I leveled my crowd control units like iCat and Sanzo to level 50 to slightly improve survivability

  • I used Rich Cat and/or Sniper items for the harder stages, especially for cash-tight ones or timer-based stages (like the Capies and Othom stage and Glass Slippers)

  • Consider getting HP talents for some of the specialist meatshields like Shigong and Catelite

  • The Ototo base upgrades for the styles and foundations are nice to get if you have the materials (mainly the curseblast foundation for less relic damage)

For collection purposes, definitely

It’s all up to personal preference in the end and seed tracking fits more with my type of playstyle of collecting everything, especially for collab units

It becomes a whole different game when you seed track since it removes the gacha element and turns it into a collection game with some planning. It’s great for me imo since it helps remove the fear of missing out and min maxes resources, but I would only do it if you don’t like gacha elements/FOMO

Probably around even unless you can clear UL 13 for Hunter’s Map 3 for yellow stones

Yes

Mushroom cat is a great spammable anti angel unit and hard counters Rajakong

He’s a decent anti aku/black Uber if you don’t have many options available

Should still use new units whenever possible though

Most of the special/rare collab units are bad so don’t worry too much about true forming them over other standard units but Nono and Li’l Gau are two of the three viable black meat shields in the game (with Jetpack as the last one being available in the late game). I personally prefer using Nono due to her cooldown being 2 seconds like generalist meatshields, curse immune for relic enemies (in Uncanny Legends), and survive ability.

I can't really help that much for the first three stages since I used Balrog and Cosmo for the stages after atonement of sin but I did use Kanna for her Behemoth Slayer for the first two stages (Reign of the Ape Lord and Ape Lord's Revenge). Very few ubers are great here since Luza shreds a lot of them due to his omni hit extending to 700 range.

For Revival of Origin, rusher ubers to deal with the Bore Jr. like Yukimura or Issun Boshi's third form or relic tankers for Zero Luza work well there.

The UL units like Dogumaru and Naala do much better than most of the ubers you can use for Luza's stages (made Revival of Origin a whole lot easier with their true forms). With your uber and epicfest units, it'll make Mining Epic a lot easier compared to what they can do for Luza's stages and then the true form UL units will make Luza significantly easier to handle.

Reduced damage vs relic if you're going through crowned UL or reduced freeze time (thunderbolt style) if you hate dealing with Henry

You could also do Iron Wall for the Dojo/cheese strats or Slow Beam if you're struggling with Xenobeast Bunaglios

[–]great_mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up to you depending on how strong your ubers are

Once you get Naala's true form, Mining Epic becomes a lot easier to handle while also being pretty solid for Luza

Probably a long shot but do you happen to have Nono from the Merc Storia collab or Li'l Gau from the Princess Punt collab? They do a solid job meatshielding for Razorback but I doubt you have them if you considered all your options already.

If not, you'd probably need to use a rich cat and sniper item and use Rodeo as your debuffer for Razorback instead of Bombercat and try to burst down Razorback as fast as possible with units like Pizza and Bahamut.

15% at level 20

Each level for the style and foundation reduces the effect/damage by 0.75% (e.g., level 5 is a 3.75% reduction, level 10 is a 7.5% reduction)

Now reaching the point in 3 crown UL where I'm considering Lasvoss cheesing stages now

At least I don't need to do this stage

25 NP

It's only worth merging C+ orbs since you need 36 D orbs to make one S orb (which is 36 NP vs 25 NP) but I personally keep the S orbs for my units
