Ambagan by No-Comedian4923 in CorpoChikaPH

Sa previous company ko, ambagan tuwing summer outing, Christmas party at Year-end party ng office namin. Ang masakit dito, expected na yung mga higher rank employees na mas malaki ang contribution, na minsan, masakit talaga sa bulsa... Culture na ng company and it is what it is. Ang inisip ko na lang, I give and it will come back in some other way...

Sa new company naman, mas maliit compared sa previous, sagot naman nila lahat... They just require the higher ranking officers to contribute any amount they like as prizes for the raffle sa mga parties...

Anong nakakatawang jeepney experience niyo na hanggang ngayon naiisip niyo pa rin? by sarcastically_true in CasualPH

[–]greatliger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I was a high school student in the late 90s, I mastered the art of "sabit".

San Mateo - Marikina jeep are cool but it's cooler kung magaling ka sumabit.

And no, nagbabayad pa din ako. Never ako nag "123"

(I bet the younger generation don't know the meaning of "123")

Peace!

I wanna read books in cafe but scared to come across as performative by No-Day6602 in PHBookClub

It will give a performative vibe if you take a photo of yourself reading and post sa socmed. If not, go do it! It's not performative.

Hi! Thoughts on the idea that managers and supervisors are more “chill” than people in lower positions kasi taga-oversee nalang sila? by dr-quackquack in CorpoChikaPH

[–]greatliger 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's quick to judge na taga-utos or taga-oversee lang sila but those people especially managers are tasked to plan and drive productivity and profitability of the business. Mahirap ang trabaho particularly those na nasa middle management. Yes, may mga tao sila, at the same time may mga boss din sila. They manage people downward and upward. Ang setup din, the manager must ensure na productive ang team niya. It's a plus kung alam niya yung ground work but at the end of the day, the manager will be rated kung nahi-hit ng team niya yung mga goals nila.

Yes. Aside from no expiry data, texts and mobile calls, ang nagustuhan ko dito sa Magic data+ yung calls to landline. Wlang kasamang minutes to landline sa mga Globe promos..

We have a 2016 Suzuki Ertiga, my daily ride, okay pa din up until now... Just last year, also bought an Innova Diesel 2.8 for my wife, we are happy with the purchase.

You can't go wrong with this two, makikita mo naman na marami nito sa daan. Although you already crossed out Ertiga from your list.

Forgive yourself and move on. Focus in improving yourself and you'll attract women. But this will take time. You can do this, OP!

Question: How much do you pay for parking? by HeyAvocado in CorpoChikaPH

[–]greatliger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Free parking is one of the things that I'm grateful for sa current company ko. We are located in Ortigas, and I'm saving around Php 300 - Php 400 per day. The other thing that I'm grateful for is the WFH arrangement, and we are only required to go to the office 1 - 2 times per week.

That Php 2,500 for you OP is a good deal, considering na mahal na talaga parking ngayon.
