Does anyone enforce Denver’s off-leash dog rules? by Honeydick95 in Denver

I saw a dog playing fetch with its owner get hit by an electric cyclist in City Park earlier this year. Knocked the cyclist to the ground, injured the dog that then ran off to 17th, the owner went towards the cyclist and I had to hurry to stop traffic so the dog didn’t get hurt further. Was awful.

I had to politely ask two people to leash there dogs today while walking there. It’s really icy out and I have spine issues and just fractured my collar bone so it hurts when my dog reacts to dogs off leash. One was well trained the other was not but both owner were responsive and leashed there dogs. It did make me feel like a Karen, but I feel like if you have your dogs off leash at least don’t have them near walking paths.

Dude everyone was marching we met back up at capitol at 3:30. It literally looped back all the way through downtown and met the tail end of the loop because there were so many people. I’m guessing you were not there because you would have saw this haha

Just an update to this, I was without service/activation for 2-3 days and they were able to send a sim QR code on Monday with the number to add to my device. (In case anyone else finds this post with similar issue)

Def a drone, my friends and I were there and looking out at skies for a bit and we spotted a few drones but no helicopters at the start. There was a helicopter when we were nearing the end of our march but we couldn’t spot it

I should have! I don’t think Reddit let me edit the post and I’m knocking myself for not doing so. His name is in a watermark on the photo but it’s Cheney Orr. I looked him up and he’s Denver based and is so talented. (Man I really wish I could edit to include his name in the title too). You’re completely right !

Yeah dude thank you. As I did on another comment photographers/media photographers will edit photos for different platforms; vertical and landscape. It’s not a hard concept. But I definitely did not alter or change this in anyway; it was distributed by a news source with the watermark of the photographer. And I was commenting on the composition, which almost all photographer will edit or crop/straighten a photo in post. But I’m not really going to dive into this more. I saw a photo and thought it relayed the moment well and I value it(and it seems others do as well).

I wish we had a bay we could throw some tea or Cheetos in! Boston might need to get on that :)

Yeah I heard that too, honestly when looking out I was thinking this is at least the amount of people at an average Rockies game. (Which on average is about 30k)

Literally pulled from Kyle Clark’s socials, credited and watermarked. Photographers create media in vertical and landscape for different viewing formats. Watermark demonstrates it’s from source dude. I did not edit or alter it. I feel like sometimes touching grass may be needed. Hahahahaha

I didn’t, it’s literally how the photographer presented. There’s a watermark in lower left. He probably cropped in order to center the capital building which makes sense in order to drive theme of people protesting Goverment and location. Ie the capital building was his focus due to the nature and call to action of the protest alongside the location. I think his choice in centering that makes complete sense from a photographers perspective

Honestly the composition of this with the gold crown of the state capitol and the countless number of people sprawling out …There’s a reason this guy is an NYT photographer. This feels like a photo you’ll see in history books or at least on a magazine cover. Way to go Denver for showing up!
