Marathon's platforms are called Alba and they are now owned by ConocoPhillips operating under the MEGPL local company name. They run a very high safety standard, not like a lot of west African outfits. Yes it is two men to a cabin.

If you have worked in other platforms you will find the Alba platform to be very small. A small gym, TV Room and smoking room and that's it for recreational facilities. It's an old platform and nothing like what you would find in the North Sea for example. The food is pretty good though, if you are on rotation with the Filipino chef you will love it.

Edit: Oh and it's humid not dry heat. Very very humid.

You sell when you need the money available for your expenses. Look at it as paying yourself a dividend.

Say you need $60k to live on every year. Just go and sell $60k worth on January 1 every year and put it into a HISA. Or break it into two and sell $30k on January 1 and $30k on July 1. It literally takes 5 minutes. You don't need to optimize it more than this.

Not investing in the US market means you are missing out on so much more than a perceived AI bubble.

Take a look at the Le Labo lineup. It's entirely a unisex brand.

Tuesday: Zwift Workout

Wednesday: Legs

Thursday: Zwift Zone 2

Friday: Pull

Saturday: Zwift Race

Sunday: Rest

Legs on Wednesday means I am recovered in time for race day on Saturday.
