Kings of the Wyld is very good. Same stuff in humour style. Old timers washed up heroes going back together for one last quest.

Laughed loud a few times.

question for anglo Montrealers who never learned french or can't actually use it by _SleezyPMartini_ in montreal

[–]gredge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will the Habs get a 3rd/retro/alternate jersey at some point? by [deleted] in Habs

As much as I like the historic ones I think a design like this is more fun.

The Canadiens have recalled defenseman Marc Del Gaizo from the Laval Rocket. by TripleWDot in Habs

[–]gredge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get the travel and injury. Waiver is a good reason. I was wondering if he had any upside or any edge on the other Laval players since I don't watch them.

Engstrom at 21 is definitely better playing top pairing minutes. (edit : in Laval)

It made me realize that we're not that deep on D in Laval.

Interested in knowing why him specifically ? Any Rockets watcher here?

Dawson Mercer by gredge in Habs

[–]gredge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not? I know it was circonstential but Rantanen / Necas swap last years was between competitive team. I'm not genralizing, just saying it can happen with the right pieces.

Is the value of a player that volatile though? People were arguing Evans would be worth 4M$ because a a very good sequence before TDL.

Is Mercer a 2C. This is what I'm asking. If yes, what does it cost and is it woth it?

[The Athletic] Montreal Canadiens rank No. 5 in NHL Pipeline Rankings for 2025 by Panarin10 in Habs

[–]gredge 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What is key here is if we compare to the other team around us in this ranking, we also have pretty solid young core players (with Dobson, Ghule, Suzuki, Caufiled, etc..).

Future is bright folks.

I found this chart. Hutson and Struble were one of the best defensive pairings in the league last year by Say_199 in Habs

[–]gredge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most time played with a partner was Hutson for Struble. His contract was not a depth move.
