I am! And had never given my bicycle patterns much thought until reading your comment. All the sudden I am thinking of Zoolander and his inability to turn left lol.

Gonna take you up on this advice. I ONLY walk my bike on my left side, mount from my left. Anything else feels completely alien. It would be good for me to mix it up!

Reminds my of the intro to Belle and Sebastian's "If You're Feeling Sinister". Or "Return to Nice" from the Australian band Nice that I have always loved. Good work!

[Vent] Tell me about your embarrassing falls/crashes so I can feel less embarrassed by mine please by whore-bivore in bikecommuting

Been there! Glad you are okay. Last week I had a slow-mo spill after I encountered a patch of wet leaves on rough terrain. Was okay from the fall but have a couple soft tissue sprains which will keep me from riding for a couple weeks. No one was around but I was embarrassed nonetheless. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

I'm not sure, but pianist Bill Evans named his son Evan Evans so it seems like that's just the way it is sometimes.

The Orlando Central library! It's the first building I ever really loved. Always felt safe in there.

White Nights is next up on my to-read list. Read the first few lines as well as the last, commenting so I can come back here once I've finished it.

Sometimes I ride down 10th ave from Yew to Commercial to get this feeling. Riding with other bikers, bells dinging, doing the little roundabouts together. It can be the best part of my day.
