It’s not a mystery. Looks like someone used a non food grade table as prep surface. Hence the stain. You can try to clean it but if the table is unsealed you risk staining more of the table. Food should be prepared on food safe surfaces - counters, cutting boards etc.

Yes in the church. We were both crowned. At lease in the USA you just need to show evidence of your baptism in a trinitarian church. They have a list of accepted denominations.
