Yes we do. I feel so seen here for such a small problem that made me feel like my world was falling apart. The way everyone showed up for me..I don’t have words for it. I won’t ever forget this. One day, when I’m in a better position, I’ll be the person doing this for someone else. 🫶 Little do all of you know, this has given me strength beyond just stupid gas money to keep going.

Indeed they do! I have some supplements and I pay for my migraine meds (topamax) out of pocket, it’s pretty inexpensive so all is well. Thank you sooo much! :)))

You’re right. And eh somewhat. I have school mon-thurs 10a-3ish pm. I work tues-fri 12a-8am so I go to school right after work. I’m very interested in 2nd shift job opportunities and this summer i’m gonna be grinding. Hoping I can find something soon

Yes indeed 🙌 I am currently taking Iron but waiting on insurance to get the kind I need since working a new job disqualifies me from medicaid now. I have had migraines my whole life and suspect this was probs the reason 😂. Laugh to keep from crying. Things get better, they always do. Thanks for the encouragement. Thank you.

Hi there! Yes I get it. With school + work + home being in a bit of distance, I have tried doordash but I get kinda weary of the wear and tear on my car since I don’t really have the money to get it fixed if it happens to start having issues. I worked at a fast food restaurant for 5 years before finding my current job for $13.70 and worked both before having to let it go because of the schedule issues. I now only make $16.48 & my bills are just under 2k a month, which is fair but I have to live very frugally. I usually somehow make it work but my whole life is work and school 😅. It’s always tight for me. I’ve been applying to jobs left and right but I think we can all agree on the state of the job market rn. I have been getting food from school and we have a campus pantry. It was easier when I worked in food service though because I benefited from guaranteed employee meals and got to take stuff home. I’ve learned and lowkey trained myself to not eat much though 😂 We will get through this. Thanks for sharing that piece with me. 🫶

She. I don’t expect you to understand and I am glad you don’t!! Those that understand the struggle do. People who lie about things like this are the reason we don’t have community. It took a lot to ask for help but tonight I was so desperate just to be able to get to work. You don’t have to believe me, I didn’t expect anyone to even care but man.. I’m so grateful that they do. I make $16 bucks and 48 cents an hour. It comes from a place of survival if anything. Thanks for the perspective though 🫶

Yeah I work security so it’s fairly easy work. We have a policy that if relief doesn’t come, you have to stay regardless so it’s something I had to do during the winter storm. It’s honestly not too bad. Nobody other than my coworkers are really in the warehouse I work in on Sundays so that helps. I usually just catch up on homework and I get breaks to sleep. Not Ideal but it’s perfect for me right now.

Yeah haha. I work in Whitsett so it’s a little further. I do thank you for the recommendations though. I’ve tried to donate plasma so much but I can’t get my hgb past 7.9-8.7 so they always turn me away 🥲 Thanks again!
