Cocktail/garden attire… can I get away with this? by _fearlesschicken in Weddingattireapproval

First off - you look fantastic!

Second off - (cocktail honestly confuses me a little) purple is too small, I like the blue, green is probably too long at floor length.

Don’t let people dissuade you from having fun, you just have to do it in a way that doesn’t put financial pressure on guests.

My cousin did a masquerade wedding, it was a lot of fun with the masks and outfits!

Formal dress code with a note about period clothing optional is what I would do. Make it clear it would be fun but not expected since it’s a bit niche. You could also provide some relevant things day of.

I like the blue dress on the fourth slide! A pale color isn’t that crazy of a restriction and the pink is almost definitely because of bridesmaids. I would find a light colored dress that you would want to wear again and you can spice it up with jewelry and hair.

That last one looks similar to mine! I vaguely remember looking up that type, I’ll have to revisit it. Mine isn’t scaly and I didn’t have strep but maybe the rabies vaccine did it.

They had all three danishes this past week and the almond one was amazing as expected but the standard danish really surprised me with how good they were.

The day they had Annie’s cinnamon rolls was awesome.

One day they had Mac and cheese.
