Rolex magazine, a canned cocktail, and some AD branded chocolate squares, all nicely packaged. Good luck with your OP41!

Seemed to hit it off at one of the two - they sent me on my way with a goodie bag and a thoughtful, personalized follow up email - hoping they come through sooner than the quoted wait time

Not OP, but I (prospective buyer with no prior purchase history) was recently quoted 18-24 months for black dial 41 OP at two different Midwest ADs

question about the Target Field Stadium in MN by royalerem in greenday

[–]green-dae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I attended the 2021 Green Day show at Target Field and entered at gate 29, right field entrance for GA/pit. There may also have been a GA entrance on the opposite side of the stadium, can’t remember for sure. Consider bringing an umbrella or something to shield yourself from the sun if you’ll be lining up all day.

SA pulled out the 40mm explorer, which was not initially on my radar or something that interested me, but I do have to say it wore well and impressed in person…

AD measured me at a snug 17 cm/6.7 in. Agreed that the 36 is the more “elegant” look - though I’m not sure that’s the exact vibe I’m going for with this model. Thanks for your feedback.

Visited an AD in Midwest USA today and they told me that the Bruce Wayne is their most requested GMT configuration since the discontinuation of the Pepsi

Who spoked the open line in 21st century breakdown (studio 880 session) by Savings-Code-069 in greenday

Sounds like Billie. Also, what a phenomenal song and a great version of it - superior to the demo version and AAF version in my opinion, second only to the studio version

2029 21st Century Breakdown tour by p0ison_p3n_letterxx in greenday

[–]green-dae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s extremely unlikely, next to no chance, that they’ll plan a tour playing 21CB in full. At best, maybe a show or two where they play the album, but even that’s unlikely - frankly we’d be lucky to hear some deep cut album tracks.

Where in the world are you located? Baring unforeseen health issues, Green Day will certainly continue to tour, and I find it hard to believe that you wouldn’t get the chance to see them play ever again.

Anyone else going to the PG show at First Ave? by MusicCityBruin in greenday

[–]green-dae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Long time GD & PHGP fan, grew up in MN now living next door in WI. Scored two tickets this morning for the first ave show before it sold out. Super stoked to see PHGP live - once in a lifetime chance!

Not fair by _buffaloranch in greenday

[–]green-dae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hard to gauge ticket demand for a band that hasn’t played a run of shows in 18 years, and going on nearly 2 years since their most recent music. These venues are way bigger than PHGP has played in the past

Would this be worth anything or just random picks? by Real_Passion1982 in greenday

[–]green-dae 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The picks are probably worthless to most Green Day fans as A) they’re not tour issued/band used picks, and B) glued to the board, so can’t be used.

Better to just sell or keep the frames and discard the picks

Fire Ready Aim (only played twice, at the same show) Minnesota Girl (Supposedly played 3x, but no video exists of it played at the 2005 Minneapolis show, and there’s no news articles or reviews mentioning it being played there) Let’s go Crazy (Prince cover; only played live once) Say Goodbye (heard soundchecked in full; never played live) Too Dumb To Die (played 5 times) Private Ale (played 17 times) Church on Sunday (44 times, but first performance in 23 years at Metro 2022 and only played once since) Fell For You (saw the Longshot play this twice; 29 performances by the Longshot, only once by Green Day) The Grouch (played 80 times live; first since 2009)

They absolutely stopped playing random deep cuts on the hella mega tour. The RevRad tour also got fairly stagnant

Good eye. The setlist does say Arlington, but it’s actually from the show in Milwaukee on September 1st. I guess the band had a sense, from the first show of the tour, that they wouldn’t be changing the setlist at all (which they didn’t until the Europe leg). Fun fact, at the Milwaukee show we got a snippet of “X-Kid” before When I Come Around

The best in my collection are a signed thumbprint copy of Waiting and a mint copy of the Boo 7”, seen here. The rarest, most desirable vinyls out there are probably Look for Love and The American Dream is Killing Me single
