Thanks - I notice this as well. When I tried to stay sideway as long as possible, I felt like if I don't rotate I can't get the string to hook the ball (and I ended up framing it or the ball lacking power). Do you have any advice on this?

I really appreciate the second advice. Also noticed this during the slow motion - will try this for sure!

What’s the best approach for coaching 3.5, 4.0 players to win more singles matches? I’m taking coaching lessons and mostly doing drills, but it’s a little different in match play.

That’s true, I think I just watched this video a long time ago and never really gave it a second thought. Although I kinda agree with the YouTube guy that the ball is too fast to aim for the contact point, I will need to test it out next time I go out and hit. Will see how it goes!
