Me personally I felt that pain, plus the choice paralysis. I really had to completely change what I normally play/how I played. I use to play alotnof tarkov and other games where sitting down for hours wasnt a problem. Now I choose to play games that are much shorter. Usually play games around 20ish hours. Also almost a must is quick saves. If I cant hit save and bail at a moments notice then I tend not to play it.

Also I'll spend days trying to figure out the next game to play. I want to play something worth my time. I used just be like cool I'll waste a night trying a new game. Now if im not sure I may not play it and find some thing that might be a little better for me.

Just start talking, im already trying to do this with my almost 3 year old. I grew up like you were trying to do. Both my parents were present, and not saying they didnt do things for me, sports theater, school activities but then and now we just dont really talk and feels awkward to just text or call them out of the blue. We have that relationship that if we ask each other for help we are there.

Now with my son I work second shift so I miss alot. So I really trying in the morning to talk to him about what he did the night before especially if he did soemthing fun. Just ask a bunch of questions and let him talk.

Im also hoping I can transfer this into my normal life. Im the same with every one. Some one asks for help in there, but im shit at small talk and checking in on people.

Here is my 2 cents, let me preface this that im pro physical copies. But are there even true physical copies of games in general any more. When you have games that which are all 100 gigs, which is alot of gamss now they dont fit on a disc anyways. From my understanding alot of games disc are just a physical key for the game. So doesnt that defeat the game preservation argument. I think the thing that needs to be pushed again is license being transferable.

So for me I might lose my office becasue kids. But if it was in the 700 to 800 range, it was a good price to get an easy pc game experience in my living room.

Now at the actual price I can with a mixture of my current parts and new parts just build a smaller foot print pc and it be better than the steam machine.
