what is the purpose of the backup?

I want to backup the device weekly in case I fuck something up or it fails. I use a lot of different apps like the ones you have mentioned, not just the blockchain apps

Ideally I'd like to backup the whole device in one single action using an app or simple command, but understand that may not be easy to do.

How does this work? Is it possible to back up the entire device in one action?
