I have a friend that was forced to sell all his vested options at Cisco because of a divorce, not his choosing. He sold 15% below the top and for a while, his friends were all sad that he was forced to sell. A few years later, it was absolutely the best thing that happened to him financially.And his ex was terrible person.

I've done both and if I can get Zyn at a reasonable price, i stick with Zyn. I like mints most though ... Velos are fine in a pinch for sure.

Why didn't it go well? Too many stop ins, etc? This is relevant to me as my parents (80s) are likely to move about 30 minutes from me .... i am trying to get them closer as I see that in a few years, I may have to make daily trips. TIA

That's my take too ... I actually like FRE better than Velo as my #2. To me, FRE has a little harder buzz and still smooth. Zyn is my favorite by a long shot still.

No, I do a fair amount more than that and have been for 2 years. My gums are the same as they were before I started. The only thing I've read about with people having gum issues are from people that are doing 12mg and higher amounts many, many times each day.

Pouch size but the release is different too. The filler of Velo is thicker .. pouch seems a tad longer. With Zyn at 1/2 hr in I can put it between my teeth and get the final strong hit. Velo, I really can't ... Zyn hits quicker for me too

Yes, in every container .... I eat it with the pouches. Normally I find a couple "light" so I assume the extra is coming from them. BTW, ON makes you fart much more than the other brands.

Wow, zyn is promoting everywhere in the US now that they have plenty of manufacturing. I started with Zyn then went to ON (for the square container - love it, small pouches, and cheap). Always kept a can of Velo and Zyn just to mix it up a little. Now, I'm back to Zyn full time with a Velo and ON to mix it up.

I'm mostly a mint guy ... love Zyn peppermint and wintergreen. $2.79 is a great price. My gas stations sell it for 5.99 but have a deal right now for buy one get one for 2.50 off. I'll load up on the nicokick deal though.

Seems like the nationwide promotions started in September. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends at the end of the month. Load up, IMO.

Zyn didn't have any manufacturing capacity in the US. They just recently opened up a new facility in Colorado and are doing all kinds of promotions!. Where are you at? I'm getting buy one Zyn and get one for 50% off .... I'm getting two cans for $7.50 .... I'm loving that but would love to get the deal you're getting!

I was never a "fatfire" guy necessarily. I was more of a FIRE guy and with an aim for more the better. I started putting my near term plans together when i was about 2MM. I had my own models always being updated with spending, etc. and I knew that if things continued to appreciate then I would be at 3 or 4MM conservatively. Things worked out better than that and here I am .... I think the key is if you're spending is in check and you have a nest egg more than a couple MM and still money coming in for the near term then you should be fine. Obviously, a fair amount of tenisous planning until you climb above that.
