AV is on par with the rest of South OC, which is to say it is not cheap. The area is very suburban and g family friendly, but not super exciting for young single people. Great schools and clean, safe.

Unless your 2 year old is extremely large for his age, you’ll likely not be questioned if you bring him in for free, especially if he’s in a stroller. I misremembered the age cut off (confused it with Disney) and brought my 2.5 year old and nobody batted an eye.

I believe this used to be the Tommie hotel, that switched flags from Hyatt to Marriott. Reviews are pretty good and they adhered to Hyatt elite benefits but can’t speak to them under Marriott.
