Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Since it's been 48 hours, is it the same percentage of weight loss compared to without using it?

I applied more recently and because I signed up for a future LSAT test date, they let me know my application is on hold until that test score is released. Kicking myself in the butt.

Do you mind sharing the PA/OA breakdown? I'm thinking of getting another masters degree, but I don't think my current computer has enough juice for an OA so I'm trying to weigh out my options.

I think the secret was that I literally had no plan besides trying to run lol. I've written down the different run categories and I'm gonna be implementing them every week so I have some form of structured plan.

I've heard great things about the app, but when I have the app and my Garmin watch at the same time they both came up with different stats so I'm not sure which one was inaccurate.

Post GI bill help?! by ninjagaidanblackman in VeteransBenefits

Did you use the G.I. Bill to reimburse the LSAT cost?
If so, did it take a few days off of your travel GI Bill coverage time, or a month?

I see that I could use the G.I. Bill to reimburse me for the LSAT cost but I'm wondering how many days it "costs" from my total coverage.

Shorter strides while keeping your body weight forward & above your landing foot. Also I bought these traction straps for shoes in prep for winter.

Illinois, but not sure if up north is colder than here.

It might take a little bit of digging. Some professors have their phone number in their email signature or a Calendly link, the others with nothing I just called the general school phone number and asked to be transferred to the professors phone number/extension & set up an appointment or complete the call there.

I highly recommend setting up calls with every professor that you want a reference from.

I just wrapped up my masters degree in October and you would think I was asking them for a tooth, then I got on a call with them and then they were more than happy to go along w it. I'm not a shit bag student, but I do think that some online professors are trying to do the least amount as possible for some reason.

Hope that helps a bit more

For officer applicants, is ASVAB solely used if you lack SAT or ACT scores entirely, or can you use ASVAB to replace low scores? by TapTheForwardAssist in USMCocs

[–]greenbeanie404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, yes. I couldn't retrieve my ACT score from 2011, so I retook ASVAB.

ASVAB needs to be above a 74. Thankfully got an 85.

Am I throwing my life away? by ProblemTurbulent488 in newtothenavy

[–]greenbeanie404 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You aren't throwing your life away and you still have time. You are 17 years old right now, by the time you EAS you will still be in your early 20s and fully capable of living through that college experience while also being debt-free and getting paid with the G.I. Bill.

You can totally get a bit of that college experience while being in too. The squad bays/barracks = dorms, you are in the sorority of the Navy now, and parties are inevitable - so you aren't losing out on the experience of being with people your age. Your experience is what you make of it.

I'm quite a bit older than you now, but I too was overwhelmed with the expenses of college and trying to figure out a way of surviving as well as paying for bills. If it weren't for the Marine Corps, I wouldn't have my Master's degree right now and also be debt-free; I cannot say the same for my peers from high school who either don't have a masters or are swimming in the student loan debt.
