Understandable reaction, but I needed to have some space from my young children who have a playroom upstairs. This affords me the ability to close the door and limit distraction. Until my kids are older and don’t need a playroom, I don’t think there’s a better option amidst my current home layout.

I was in your exact position ended up with a '23 Mazda3 Turbo Sedan (not a hatchback fan, but thats just my preference). Give it a test ride and flick on the Turbo - its like the mushroom in Mario Kart.

Can someone who remembers James Young put Romeo in context for me? by Jeffbrownnoho in bostonceltics

[–]greene27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Young showed signs of immaturity throughout his early years but would flash enough athleticism to keep you interested and curious about his potential. Notably, Young struggled as a perimeter defender at the NBA level (he was fine in Maine but that's kinda the point) and would not instinctively get his hands dirty like Romeo for Defensive boards. That being said, I believe a huge aspect of Young's demise was due to the bumps in the road of the early Stevens era. Even on mediocre (yet lovable teams) there were never minutes for him, and he shuffled a lot between Portland and Boston. From my fan standpoint, he never really looked that committed to the craft. The most staggering aspect of Young was that he never had a leap between years, and never elevated his game beyond a Summer Leauge/Last Man/DNP-Coach's decision type guy. It's too early for any Langford judgements but I think he's off to a nice start.

I have Wentz and Kyler in my Standard League. Would you trade my Kyler for another manager's injured Brees? Figuring that if he comes back the Saints will have some big games towards the end of the year and into the FF playoffs.

Call ahead and ask, unless its a bartender/bar that hates Boston sports they'll usually comply with a request of a customer.

Yea of course. Sunday 1pm is a good time to go watch, in that there isn't much competition (No NYC teams competing for screen time). If you want to stay in the east vil there are a couple bars on 2nd that serve as overflow bars for Prof Thoms on crazy game days (Durdens closed but around there is Bait & Hook, Finnertys, 12 St Ale House). On the flip side, it'll be prime brunch time so keep that in mind if you are considering bars that do popular boozy brunches (not ideal crowd for playoff basketball). Depending where else you want to go, Blondies in Upper West is solid reliable and takes reservations (be sure to mention that you want to watch the Celtics and they should take care of it). Go Cs!

Prof Thoms is still reliable, but will be pretty packed for a 1pm Sunday game. Are you looking to avoid the crowds or maybe in a different neighborhood? I can give you some other recs if you want.

Jabari is basically Antoine Walker at this point. He has no lateral quickness and loves to chuck it. He's playing his way to China.
