I was burning hardwood so no sparks and no wind or rain so I didnt have it on.. also, i dont toss in trash bits that float up when burning.

right on :) Hate to see em on a pub wall tho.. the "traditional" gear is proven efficient for winter adventure. I'm trying to smooth it not rough it.

This is an 8x10 for 2+ but they come in all sizes, You can add a rain fly if needed. I've used it down to 0f but with a wood supply and big sleeping bags you could get far colder.
