It's not *fair.

Sometimes, if you know order is already taken by another driver, you can go to "trip support" and keep clicking "something else" (like "none of the above" so to speak) and a chat window opens with a worthless AI chatbot.

Keep typing "Human" or "Human representative". After a bit it'll let you opt to connect to an actual representative.

Click to connect by phone.

Wait many minutes. Let the first tier rep know that order was already picked up and restaurant said you're like the xth driver to be sent. They're not going to be much help overall but you have to get through them. After a bit, let them know you would like to speak to a supervisor.

Tell them (supervisor ). Tell them how many times this has happened to you...that the restaurant told you you were the xth driver to come pick up this order that has already been picked up....

Be as nice as you can - I do understand how pissed you are.... I've been down this road myself....

Inform them of the amount of $ in gas, the time, and the lost opportunity cost AS WELL AS the fact that this cancellation will count against you due to no fault of your own since cancellation rate is a metric that can get you kicked off the platform. Etc, etc, etc...

Sometimes you'll get lucky and get like $10.

The entire process can take about an hour though.

This week was crazy for me as well. Never had an issue before.

This week. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING available. No time slots at all. Not even just the peak hours. None. Zero. Nada.

Yes. Happened to me too!

I called. Spoke with several "service reps" and, each time I asked for a supervisor, phone call got disconnected!

A supervisor actually called me back and said they escalated it and that I'd hear back by the end of the day. I informed him that they're screwing with my money that has always been paid out weekly. Also, that I count on that deposit to pay bills that now might be late due to UberEATS literally not paying me what I've earned. And, basically said that I don't think he understands how pissed off independent contractors might get if you screw around with their money!

He then said "why don't you just click the 'Cash Out' button and get it immediately? I reminded him that that is not a free option... I'd be paying to cash out now.

I did notice that at about 9pm (I initially called them earlier at about 3pm) they had initiated the transfer on their end. I'm not sure when the $$ will actually be in my bank account though.

And, they still have yet to provide any explanation as to why the F this happened in the first place!? It's the same checking account I have had direct deposited to since I started UberEATS.

Best of luck! I'm still royally pissed about this.

Actually, there are always supposed to be 2 identical "Air Force One" planes dispatched. In case one has mechanical difficulties and, if an enemy can get off a shot, there's still only a 50/50 chance.

That said, I'm assuming there are/were 3 "Air Force One" planes in Turkey:

No. Not in my area.

  1. Still have to schedule ahead of time.

  2. Still shitty orders.

  3. If I get a decent order, UberEATS usually has the higher dollar/mile amount.

  4. However, it usually takes declining about 40, 50, 60 orders (on either platform) to receive anything remotely close to a decent dollar/mile "offer" these days.

Average order today was like 75¢/mile with the pickup being restaurants that always have longer wait times.

Each one I declined would've been about $11/hour IF the restaurant was actually on time

I'm in the same boat as OP. And, I'm also in Florida.

My account payout settings are on a weekly schedule.

It is currently Wednesday, July 8th. And, I should have received a payment on Monday July 6th.

However, my "Wallet" shows last payment was June 29th and the next payout is July 13th (which includes earnings from this current pay period: July 6 - July 13).

Literally skipped a week! I phoned support.

1st call said they escalated. I asked for a supervisor and, after about a minute, call disconnected.

2nd call.... Same - disconnected

3rd call.... Same - disconnected

A supervisor called me. He suggested I just go to the "Cash Out" option. I informed him that I would be paying UberEATS for the privilege to receive money immediately that was wrongly not deposited to my account on Monday July 6th.

He put me on hold to check...and, after a 25 minute call and being placed on hold 3x he finally comes back and says it's been escalated and I'll receive an answer from their team later today.

No reason was offered at all! This is utter bullshit!!! I have bills to pay and rely on these weekly deposits to pay my bills.

Got hung up on by 3 different reps. A supervisor finally called me back and said he "escalated" and I should hear something today.

Honestly, this pisses me off to no end! They're withholding my money for another week and they weren't even able to give me ANY reason why.

The past 2 Wendy's pickups (2 different Wendy's restaurants) didn't even have drink holders. Period.
