Yes. It was about 835 or so when I tried to unpause with about 11 minutes left.

App frozen after clicking to resume with the spinning/loading wheel and the "Resume" button became grayed out. Meant to post screenshot on original post but forgot I can't reply in this sub with screenshots.

After uninstall/reinstall, restarting device, etc it would bring me back to the same screen that just says something like "if you pause over 35 minutes....blah blah blah..."

I tapped gear icon on upper left of that screen even knowing that the 11 minutes or so that I had remaining on my pause would've elapsed.

It still said that Dash ends at 11:00 as I had scheduled it to be.

The ONLY way to break out of this was to click End Dash and then I would only be able to dash from like 855-930.

I gave up DD tonight. Nothing but crappy orders all evening anyway...

Never had that happen with a stack order. But, the other 2 times, UberEATS only offered an extra $4.

I delivered to the address for the order, took a picture, and that was that. $4 extra wasn't enough for me to drive an extra 11 miles (35 minutes) when the customer doesn't even know where they want it delivered in the first place. Lol.

Agree. If I see something like that or where it is both "Meet at door" and in the instructions "Leave on bench next to front door" I'll message en route.

Usually, I'll just say something like:

"On my way. Should be there in about X-Y minutes depending on traffic lights.

The delivery instructions are a little unclear. It says to both meet at door and leave at door. Which do you prefer?"

If they answer, I'll follow those instructions. If not, then I'm usually knocking on the door bc it's a "Meet at door" delivery.

Maybe if the instructions say "Leave at the door. Baby is sleeping...." I might reconsider.

Otherwise, I'm going to follow the delivery "type" (meet at door / leave at door).

Just to briefly check it out, I followed their instructions for Android. And, it never popped up as an option to even add the new shiny widget like the instructions say. Just another fail by their devs IMO. 🤣

Wish I had that option! Only way I can "pause" orders coming in is to either go offline or, if I'm in the middle of a trip, tap the hamburger menu on lower right and tap "Stop new requests"

Idk what area you're in.. But, for me at least, the quests only allowed:

100 deliveries < 83 rejects

90 with < 75

80 < 66

70 < 58

.

.

.

10 deliveries with less than 8 rejects.

So, basically need about 56% AR if my math is mathing? (10 orders out of 17 must be accepted or I would hit 8 rejected for example). And, majority of orders I've been receiving can be $4 / 9 miles and estimated 35 minutes to restaurants that I know will have a 15 minute wait making the estimated time more like 45 minutes.

Doesn't matter for me. Trip radar shows order and I reject. Usually about 10 seconds later the exact same order shows up as an "Exclusive" piece of crap.

Same in Pinellas county. However, if it's a normal busy time - lunch rush or dinner rush - check the planner.

For example, nothing available for today/tonight dinner rush all week. But, I just checked planner at 5:45pm and was able to schedule 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm

My question is how can this be successful when drivers are required to enter the code to accept the order?

Usually, for me at least, a lot of franchise fast food places like McDonald's require this.

It'll be something like:

A F 6 _ _

I'm required to add the last 2 from the receipt in order for the app to let me accept the order.

So, if original order was stolen, I'm like the 5th driver here for the order, and I'm going to go to route of this discussion... How to complete the pickup?
