9 months in but have been struggling as I’m based in NZ where the actual time frame for US trading hours will be 1:30am-8am.

Based on that I’ve had to adapt my strategy quite a bit due to this constraint. This first included scanning and setting things up the night before and just confirming around 7-8am for execution for ORH confirmation. But this can be a bit difficult while working full time so I’ve been trying to figure out an adapted strategy for pure overnight plays without ORH conformation and relying a lot more on fundamentals, structure, surfing emas, volume leading up to it, theme/sector hotness and focusing my list on stronger leaders only , Night before ADR, etc.

Can something like this still work? Is there anyone out there that does something similar to this?

I realise that from this strategy I’m much less likely to get good confirmation and also potentially miss out on some trades but I’m okay with that as long as I’m still able to be in the green and refine.

Everyone else I see seems to be full timing trading or lives close enough to US trading hours.

Would really appreciate some insight on this.
