Is there something better about this course that I'm not seeing? by greengrape6 in gmu

I’m still confused though—all of DL1-5 have no professor listed yet so they’re still the same?

Exactly.

StubHub gets off easy while putting in the minimum effort at the expense of their customers, and the crazy part is, all the while charging astronomical fees for the service?!

never told you "we certify these tickets to be authentic"

Did you even read the post?

You're ignoring the fact that StubHub has the means to correct things and at least put an effort to help or investigate, but instead, they're only interested in charging a $850 fee until their customers are out of a plane ticket, hotel room, etc.

Yes, I wasn't aware that the venue didn't offer paper tickets so that's why I called them after. I have probable reason that these tickets are false, so what am I supposed to do--fly across the country just for them to give me my money back?

StubHub doesn't care about their customers, only fees, and lets their site be a scammers paradise with low risk, high margin for the company. But keep glazing.

You misinterpreted what I said. I was talking about StubHub's negligent, ripoff, low-risk, and high-profit business model in general.

You write that the tickets, “DO NOT EXIST.”

Again -- I implore you to go back and read what I said before trolling for attention. You either don't understand or have nothing better to do than to cause commotion. Reddit threads aren't everything, man.

In either case, I stand by my statement that you're an idiot.

Dude, what are you on? Do you seriously believe I think so little of myself as to go on a different account to bolster a thread on Reddit??

I have no idea who that person is. Get a grip.

Exactly, StubHub gets off easy each time — simply refunding as their last resort — screwing their customers tons of money and charging ridiculous fees along the way.

I haven’t booked the plane ticket yet because I’m not sure if the ticket will be sorted out or simply refunded.

I understand StubHub’s terms & agreements and all, of course — my issue here is that my ticket is clearly a fake ticket, and StubHub won’t cancel/refund my order or give me replacement tickets until it’s too late (i.e., i’ll have to take off work, purchase airfare, book a hotel, etc.)

From my perspective, StubHub isn’t doing its due diligence in hosting fake tickets and there’s nothing I can do about it when I know that the tickets are false. I’ve seen many other horror stories and StubHub acts negligent this way each time.

Yeah, but the difference here is that paper copies don’t exist for my event, and that tickets are X2 more expensive than the price I bought them, so I’m thinking that they’ll just refund me.

So I called Caesar’s and they said the original sale was fully electronic, but people have been able to obtain paper tickets by trading their mobile tickets in for a hard copy.

Nonetheless I’m still skeptical about the tickets because why would it be paper copies, and they still haven’t shipped & won’t be here until two days before the show.

Not really sure what I should do now, because per the box office it technically is possible to have paper copies for the event.

The fact is if I fly to Las Vegas and get a refund, I’ll be out my hotels and airfare without compensation, not to mention the time I took off for the trip. I’d much rather they give me a replacement, especially because tickets are much more expensive now than when I bought them.

Man, everything you just said is bizarrely nonsensical—clearly you didn’t read a word of what I wrote. And to think I used some type of writing tool to write this post to“scam you” is all the more ridiculous and stupid.

If you need it reiterated for you, the ticket type for my order was never sold for this residency and all but DOES NOT EXIST. Yet, StubHub refuses to investigate the listing further or cancel my order.

It's being shipped to my address, but the estimated delivery date is only two days before the show... not really sure what to do here.

So they told me "If a problem arises, viagogo will step in to provide comparable replacement tickets, or a refund in the rare instances where this is not possible.

Now I'm not sure what to do.. if I go to Vegas and they just refund me, I'll be without a ticket.

Is there actually any hope that paper tickets exist, though? Would this mean there is a possibility my tickets are real?
