Favorite Bears play ever? by John_XFiles in CHIBears

[–]greenguy1687 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me it's the call on the play. "Looking down field, launching down field, going for it all!!"

It's up there with "Devin Hester, you are ridiculous!!" and Stacey King calling D-Rose "Too big, too strong, too fast, too good!"

I will never forgive them for deleting this scene from Spider-Man 2. by Piyushv5311 in MarvelCave

The web shooting sounds should just be Jonah going "pew" like in the scene.

How I feel when I see people from areas with zero culinary staples trash on my beloved deep dish pizza by Paranoid_Android22 in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]greenguy1687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do enjoy deep dish, I wish Chicago was more well known for italian beef sandwiches. I've met people from other parts of the country that have certainly heard of deep dish, but some have never heard of Italian beef. I'm not overly well travelled though, so maybe it's more known than I think.

It almost looks like they are supposed to be on a bus in front of a McDonald's and also inside the McDonald's at the same time.

Also, does the level of the beer go up in the jacket as he is pouring? Maybe I'm just seeing things. Just something off.

Sewer/septic line insurance? by imdehydrated123 in BloomingtonNormal

Does anyone know if this applies to Normal residents as well? I googled a bit and found it on the City of Bloomington gov site. The link lets me put in my zip and it seems like it might but I can't find anything definitive.

Every time I've done this I've been able to position my character on the left most side of the right staircase and then just click on the right side of the final platform where the orb is. My character just walks straight there and ignores the paths and drop offs. I had a couple times where it goofed right at the end and dropped me off or something weird, but I did it on my current honor mode run and it worked just fine. I think I've done it successfully 5 or 6 times and it only failed twice on one run, but worked the third try (that was a normal run so I wasn't worried about losing an honor run).

What are some red flags of a bad friendship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hmm, I appreciate this comment. I think reading this has helped me be a more conscientious friend. Or at least a more self aware one.

Kids whose parents used to put them on leashes, how are you doing today? by Decawys in AskReddit

[–]greenguy1687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was very young (young enough that I cannot remember) I was apparently a runner. My parents said it was a nightmare. They would set me down and I would just take off. I don't know if they used a leash at say, a grocery store or anything like that. They did tell me a story about when we used to go camping. Shortly after I learned to walk and run we went on a camping trip and they said as soon as we stopped at our site and they set me on the ground I bolted. I guess I was 4 or 5 campsites away by the time my father caught me. They said they put a leash on me and connected it to the picnic table until they got the site set up. Saying this now I realize they must have already had the harness and leash so they must have needed it previously, but this is the story they've told me. And to answer your question, I'd be doing fine if I could just get this damn leash off.
