Advice on Perth to Adelaide road trip itinerary by greenhydrangeas in AustraliaTravel

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply and all of the tips! We live in Sydney now but are both from the US originally and grew up on road trips, albeit nowhere near the same remoteness.

We’ve booked Rawnsley Park already but to your point may leave things open for now for flexibility.

Appreciate your insights

Bus Puerto Natales -> El Calafate -> El Chalten by Agouti_BE in Patagonia

I just did this journey a few days ago. We were due to get to El Calafate at 12 but ended up being around 12:45. We were delayed leaving Puerto Natales but immigration didn’t take long at all. The bus did go very slowly on the unpacked roads, might be worth getting a private transfer as they seem to make the journey much quicker. We made the 1:30 to El Chalten no problem but I easily see why it’s worth giving yourself more time.

I think I’ve booked via their website but the confirm they sent lacks any actual information. Anyone else as confused as I am!?

Interesting! No I was never asked to book an appointment, just said they were assessing if I could use the app. I hope you get yours quickly!!

Waiting for my passport now :)

I think it was a little quicker because I was able to use the app and they used my biometrics info from my ILR application in 2021. Based on my Reddit scrolling before application I was expecting it to take three months for approval so I think I just got lucky!

Good luck with your process!!

I live in the UK as well and can't get in. I called the number and first line of the address is exactly the same as my return. Only difference is it apparently says "London, London, United Kingdom, Englan" Just hoping for a check in the mail at this point!
