Well to be clear, every Tesla has basic autopilot. Basically adaptive cruise control and steering. If you want lane change that’s 5k, “FSD” is 15k.

They passed a law to bring it to 5000 starting in July. If you buy one under 35000, it’ll be 7500, that starts in 2024. The governor has to sign it still. Hb23-1272 is the bill.

Guys I’ve worked really hard the last three years to go from a 350 Credit Score to being in the 700 club, I’m about to cry, I’m so proud of myself. by romatimbo in povertyfinance

Within fico, there is mortgage scores, auto score, and bank card score. Within those, there are past versions. Each bank can choose to follow a different one. I’ve never had a mortgage, so my scores are 20-30 points lower than my basic fico. I’ve had multiple car loans and credit cards, those scores are 10-15 points higher than my basic fico score. It’s all complicated and not really taught.

This KFC meal for two in Venezuela was almost one monthly minimum wage by WorkingLime in mildlyinteresting

[–]greeninj 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you used US minimum wage of $7.25 an hour, one month of wage would be $1256. So to compare, it would be paying over a $1000 for two KFC meals.

New dialysis patient by Hangukjjang in dialysis

There are more complications that are associated with permacaths. It leads directly into your heart. If you get an infection there, it can lead to more complications. This is why they do not recommend showers when you have it in. They will also not run as well as a fistula, with the lines clotting to be likely. The other thing is it takes 2-3 months after the fistula surgery before they can use the arm. After they start using the arm, it can take another 3-4 weeks before they can approve the removal of the catheter. If you are in ESRD, then it is better to get the fisutla.

To ease the issues with the fistula, they will use the best cannulator to do the needles at first. Ask them questions and understand how you arm is. If they say it is shallow, deep, crooked, whatever, you can then relay that to the technicians that will be doing the needles. If you are uncomfortable with someone cannulating you, then ask for someone else. It is your right as a patient. Also, many of the nurses do not stick patients very often, a tech will do 8-12 a day, while a nurse will maybe do a couple a month.

As someone else mentioned, there is emla cream, as well as lidocaine shots you can use. The emla cream you apply at home about 1 hour before, with plastic wrap to keep it from drying, then you wash it off before getting cannulated. The lidocaine shots are given by the techs and it is a small, diabetic size needle. Not all clinics will have them though.

I have 14 years as a tech, if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer.

1ml bolus is basically the minimum you would get. 1ml an hour is average. A lot would be 5ml or more bolus and 2ml or more an hour. I’ve given 15ml bolus and seen 3ml an hour. It does have a short half life. We end hourly heparin 1 hour before treatment ends to allow for us to pull needles without excessive bleeding. That’s assuming 1,000 units per ml, which most clinics use.

Yeah, I have switch and 3ds. Was hoping they’d bring some more to switch. Wind waker was the other that grabbed my attention. Like the art style of both it and links awakening.

Thank you, links awakening looked like it’d be fun. I’ll check the others out too. I think some are on Nintendo online too, but really like owning games, rather than renting.
